I walked into the Baker house to see Ms. Baker, Jordan, Simone, and her parents outside.

"Jordan?" I walked out there
"Yeah?" He turned to me
"I just came to get the baby" I said

"She's upstai-" Jordan was cut off
"Baby? You're allowing your son to just get people pregnant left and right?" Simone's mother scoffed

"It's not considered people if he only got one person pregnant, that one person being me, someone he's known since the age of 5" I spoke for myself before getting my baby

Cafe in Crenshaw

"You're here!" Kia hugged me
"With a plus one" I joked
"Oh girl she's always welcome" Kia played along

"Holland!" Spencer smiled
"Spence, it's honestly been a minute" I chuckled
"So am I the only person who hasn't met the new Baker?" Chris spoke

"Here she is" I picked her up and handed her to Chris
"You good?" Kia asked
"Nah fight with my parents" I sighed

"I'm surprised they in town, hell I'm surprised they in state" Spencer chuckled
"Yeah, and the Tamika Pratt video getting leaked, it's a lot going on" I shook my head

"That video should've been released 5 months ago when it happened" Kia claimed
"But whatchu gonna do? I mean, we're us and they're them" I sighed

"Black and white" Chris added to what I said
"There it is" Spencer agreed
"But we can't stop fighting!" Kia asserted

"Hey kids!" The shop owner shouted "ain't y'all free period almost over?" He asked
"Thanks!" Spencer responded

"I'll catch y'all later" I said to everyone before leaving

After school

"Holland" Asher jogged up to me
"What's up?" I asked with a stroller in my hand
"Um, did you know about Jordan and Simone getting married?" He questioned

"Ugh, yeah why" I answered in an annoyed tone
"Weird, everyone knows but me" He whispered
"I'm sure he meant to tell you" I assured

"It's whatever" Asher lamented due to his best friend not telling him about his marriage

"Um, what're you doing?" Asher queried
"I was gonna go on a jog but what's up?" I replied
"You good at chemistry?" He'd asked me

"I'm good enough, I have a 95" I shrugged
"Could you help me study?" He raised a brow

"Sure" I led him to my car

At the cafe

Asher went to order us something to drink whilst I got out our tools.

"Ok so where are your notes?" I asked him as her approached
"Notes?" His brows furrowed
"Yeah, where you write down your formulas and facts and examples" I waved my notebook in the air

"Oh, uh, I don't have them" He admitted
"It's fine, copy mine" I took out my notebook

"Hey guys" Jordan said making both Asher and I jump
"Uh, I gotta use the bathroom" Asher jogged away

"Oh, hey" I waved
"What's this?" Jordan gestured to Asher and I's study session

"Study session? Ever heard of eligibility" I responded
"Right, um, I'll catch you later" He nodded before leaving

School the next day

I was on my way to Economics when I saw Jordan walking through the doors looking very angry.

"J, you good?" I asked
"What?!" He snapped "what do you want, you coming to tell me how I'm a shitty dad? I'll just add to everyone else's complaints"

"Don't get slapped again" I dragged him to a private corner
"Sorry, I'm frustrated" He apologized
"Why?" I asked

"Because everyone expects so much out of me, I feel drained, no matter how much I sleep or do anything I just feel drained" He'd ranted

"Well then tell everyone you need space" I advised
"Doesn't that seem harsh?" He protested

"Yes but no. Jordan take as much time as you need for yourself, part away from people" I suggested
"Yeah" He agreed

"Well, I gotta go" I left
"Bye" His voice faded in the distance

On the way to class I ran into Jaylene.

"Hey!" She smiled
"Hey" I returned the smiles
"How's everything been? With Jordan and the baby?" She asked

"It's been okay I guess" I shrugged
"Ok?" She became confused
"He's been stressed with his injury plus the marriage and their parents finding out" I explained to her

"Right, I bet that's hell" She joked
"I bet it is" I joined the laugh
"I remember you told me your parents were back in town" She brought up

"Yes and I hope they leave soon" I sighed
"So they just show up with a angry ass lecture" She asked
"Yes! Like what happened to hello? How are you?" I chastised

"They don't even have the right with the way they leave" Jaylene scoffed
"It's rare to even see them in their own home" I rolled my eyes

After school

I'd decided to go visit Olivia and check up on her.

"Did you see the game on TV?" She asked as she opened the door
"No why?" I asked, confused towards why she and Leila had been panicking

"Look" She pointed

The chargers were forfeiting the game in protest to Tamika Pratt.

"He's doing what's right" I said in a whisper
"Does y'all's offer to help still stand?" Olivia asked Leila and I

"Yeah, of course" I assured as Leila nodded in agreement
"Come on" She ran to her room

Olivia turned on her equipment for her podcast and had Laila and I speak for her.

It was an apology and explanation for the leakage of the Tamika Pratt video.

"Thanks guys" She gave us each a hug
"We'll always be here for you Olivia" I told her
"Anytime and anywhere" Leila grinned
