I'd pulled up to a small cafe where Jordan was.

He held off on going to the normal spot due to the incident today seeing as he had Cordelia.

"Look mommy! Oh, she looks mad" Jordan's eyes followed me
"Damn right" I plopped in the chair

"Language" Jordan jokingly covered Delia's ears
"Seriously" I slumped in my seat

"What's up?" Jordan asked

"My parents, they came back and now we're moving which is totally random like how could they come back after neglecting me time after time and decide that Cordelia and I leave with them" I ranted

Jordan tried to open his mouth to speak but I had cut him off.

"It was a whole argument, and then I brought up you and Cordelia then dad was all like "well you should've thought about that before getting pregnant" so then I obviously had to for their parenting skills before they try and diss mine" I scoffed

"What'd you say?" His brows furrowed
"Well, I told them we weren't moving because my child and her father value their time together" I said

"Jordan I can't leave you" I sighed
"Yeah, I don't know what I'd do if you left me" He chuckled

"We, I mean we, as in Cordelia and I" I corrected
"Whatever, but seriously I don't know what I'd do if you guys left" Jordan said

"We aren't going anywhere" I assured him "Your parents are stubborn and always get what they want" He reminded me

"Then they had me, which was their first problem, I'm not going no where, especially with them" I assured again

"It's just crazy" I said
"What is?" Jordan asked
"How everything changed so fast" I said

"Cant disagree there" He gave a nod

"If you asked me how my senior year would play out I never thought I'd say "I'm a mother to Jordan Baker and beefing with Simone Hicks", like not even remotely" I chuckled

"Maybe you'd be dating me" He shrugged
"I beg your biggest pardon?" My eyebrow raised

Jordan laughed at my statement

"I liked you for a while and I was gonna ask you out" He admitted
"But you didn't?" The words came off a bit harsher than intended

"You sound a little upset about it" He teased "And don't forget you ghosted me and my family"

He had a point

"Anyways, I don't know what to do" I sighed
"Move in with us?" He'd suggested
"Hell no" I responded with the quickness

Never again. I love the Bakers but I know that I can't reside in the same place as Simone and remain completely sane.

"What's wrong with us?" He took offense
"Living alongside the queen of hearts?!" I scoffed
"Ok she's not that bad and Simone doesn't even live with us" He pointed out

"She's there enough and let's say I did move in with you guys, she'd find out and never leave" I said

"Yeah...we'll you'll figure something out, I'll even help" Jordan offered
"No, that's fine" I kindly declined his offer
"No, it's not" He gave a sarcastic grin

"Sassy" I whispered

"Did your mother just call me sassy" He talked to Delia, she of course responded in a giggle

Just then Jordan's phone rang to indicate a text message.

"Simone😊" the the screen said

"I gotta go, it's Simone" He let out a sigh
"We had to go anyways" I informed
"Really? Or are you just saying that so I don't feel bad" He smirked

"Feel as bad as you want, I'm not sitting at a cafe all day" I'd told you giant boy
"See you later" He'd smiled before leaving

I'm alive I swear
