"Ugh," I groaned when I woke up. I feel groggy and hungry. I can't even remember how I fell asleep.
"Tala?" I mumbled, eyes still closed. Kinapa kapa ko pa kung nasa tabi ko ba siya pero wala kaya agad ako na napadilat.
My brows furrowed as I look around. This isn't the room Ligaya showed us. This room is too. . . modern? I swear I've been around the island long enough to know there isn't a modern building anywhere.
Ngayon ko lang din naramdaman na nasa malambot ako na kama. The air conditioner was also open. How the fuck did I get here?
Oh! Nasa city na ba kami? Did we get out of the island? Wait, papaanong hindi ako nagising eh as far as I know, mag babangka lang kami papuntang city. Hindi naman ako ganon ka heavy sleeper!
I got a full view of the room as I stood up. Kalat kalat ang mga gamit pati ang mga easy-to-eat food. Si Tala at Ligaya ba ang kumain?
"Aw!" I held onto my head tightly as it suddenly starts aching. My ears were ringing and I felt dizzy. Shet, what is happening to me?
"Tala!" I called for her name again but she didn't show up. Pinilit ko na tumayo to look for her pero wala talaga siya sa loob nitong studio type na room.
Saglit ko pa na tinignan ang itsura ko bago naisipan na lumabas.
I was welcomed by nature as I got out but there were other establishments around. Parang nasa loob pa ako ng isang beach resort pero hindi matao. Seriously, sa beach resort nila ako dinala?
"Good morning, Ma'am!" Bati sa akin ng isang staff. I smiled to greet her back and started looking around for Tala again.
"Akala ko ho hindi na kayo lalabas diyan sa room niyo na nai-book ahead of time. Sayang naman kung hindi niyo maiikot itong isla. Sabihan niyo lang ho ako ma'am kung balak niyo na mag ikot sa isla ha!"
