Steps Into Love

Author's Note: Hey Guys, Sorry if I am working slowly, But I am getting there. I think we are almost close to finishing this book and I told you guys about my next upcoming book. It is going to be great, there are also going to be Jaya and Kailor in that book. This is because of the different events happing in different places in the book. So let's first get on with our story :)

Pixal POV

As Days Pasted By and I visited my father more often,

He was recovering slowly and every day I prayed for the First Spinjizu Master to help him.

On the other hand, Zane helped me out with the horse around the house,

I still felt upset sometimes but now not all the time.

I was doing the gardening today and watering the plants,

It was the start of Spring and some of the flowers have bloomed and they show lots of beautiful colours around the garden.

There were also a lot of bees,

I used to be scared of them but now I'm not.

I have heard they are attracted to flowers that have the colours purple or yellow, (True fact!)

I had a lot of lavender in the garden which got their attention.

I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder,

I turn to see Zane with a white rose.

"I want you to have this," Zane says as he hands me the white rose,

I gave him a little confused smile.

"I think you look beautiful," He says as he looks down embarrassed,

I smile and take the rose and breathe in its scent.

"Thank you," I say,

He gives me a little faint smile and walks away.

I am starting to think he is falling for me,

Later on, he made lunch for me.

Why is he doing all my work for me?

After I ate lunch I received a call from the hospital for me to come since my father wanted me to hear the news.

I told Zane I would be away to see my father for a while and he kept working around the house.

I soon drove to the hospital,

As I arrived the nurse took me to my father's room.

There was news about whether he is recovering or not,

I was nervous when he asked the nurse to leave the room for a second.

"Father, what is going on?" I question him full of fear about what might happen,

"Pix, I got some news to tell you," He says sternly.

A shiver went up my back, I start to shiver in fear,

"Pixal?" He starts.

"Yes," I say desperate to know what he was going to say,

"I-I" He starts.

I start to feel scared of what might happen,

"Yes," I say.

"The cancer I got has cleared," He says with a little smile,

Before I know it I pull him into a hug and sobbed on his chest.

"Pix, are you okay," He asked me,

"It's nothing," I say as I pull away and wipe my tears.
