The Convert Queen is a fantasy romance with a big dose of the paranormal thrown in for good measure, and is inspired by the following Open Novella Contest 2023 prompt:

They were not real, everyone told me they were not real. But why are they here? Why are they trying to talk to me? Why are they calling me the ONE? Why are they staring at me like that?
The story is set in the same world as one of my previous ONC stories, The Winter Ghost, which made the shortlist back in 2019, but the distance between Kamvor and the setting for this story is many kingdoms apart, and they are not likely to meet, at least not in this particular instalment.
