A snowy day arrived Rimuru and Tanjiro were about to take their loads of charcoal to sell them in the town

Rimuro: You ready Tanjiro

Tanjiro: Yes

Tanjiro nodded while wearing his usual poker face as they were about to leave

Kie: Rimuro, Tanjiro

The 2 brothers looked at their mother

Kie: Your faces are covered in soot come over here

The two boys walked over to their mother she wiped both of their faces with a cloth

Kie: It's dangerous to go with all this snow. You both don't have to go

Rimuro: I was thinking the same thing but Tanjiro insisted on going so we can have a nice New Years meal I don't disagree with him on that and I don't want him going alone besides I don't know how my quiet little brother will socialize properly without me

Tanjiro: I would've been fine on my own

Rimuro: Maybe but just because you're one of the eldest sons doesn't mean you have to do it all so quit overworking yourself ya big goof

Rimuro said this while ruffling Tanjiro's hair Tanjiro didn't seem to mind as he smiled a bit

Kie: You're both such sweet boys

Rimuro: Well I try

Shigeru: Rimuro, Tanjiro

The brothers and their mother looked to see Shigeru and Hanako running up to them

Shigeru: You're going to town again today

Hanako: I'm coming with you guys

Kie: No you're not you know you can't walk as fast as Tanjiro and Rimuro can

Rimuro: Mom's right we can't carry you guys the whole way since the wagon is broken but we'll get you guys something nice on the way back but only if you're good kids can you do that for us

Shigeru: Promise

Rimuro: Sure

Tanjiro patted his younger siblings' heads

Tanjiro: I'll read for you guys when we get back

Hanako: Kay

Kie: Thank you both so much for doing this

Rimuro: Of course

Tanjiro: We'll be heading out now

Rimuro: By the way Takeo you mind chopping as much wood as you can for us while we're gone

Takeo: Yeah I was gonna do that anyway but I was kinda hoping we'd all be able to do it together this time

He pouted as he said this

Rimuro: Awww did you want to spend time with your 2 older brothers that much

Takeo: N-no that's not it at all

Tanjiro walked up to Takeo and patted him on the head

Tanjiro: There, there

Takeo: KNOCK IT OFF WOULD YA

Shigeru: You're blushing, Take

Takeo: SHUT UP YOU BRAT

Rimuro joined and also patted Takeo's head

Rimuro: There, there now

Takeo: I TOLD YOU TO CUT IT OUT

Everyone else laughed at their tsundere brother's embarrassment while Tanjiro had a slight smile
