Back at the Storm Mansion, Tamayo and Yushiro were doing tests with Tanjiro

Tamayo: May I ask how your brother is doing

Tanjiro: He's still not well his scent of guilt is strong on him

Tamayo: A shame he seems fully convinced that this is all his fault

Tanjiro: Nezuko and I always knew he blamed himself too much which is why she did try to comfort him but now I'm certain he's gotten worse

Tamayo: If you wish to take a break to talk with him

Tanjiro: No this is necessary, the sooner we finish this the better, hopefully the good news may do something to improve his mental state

Tamayo: Well the good news is we're close to completion I just need more time to run the tests but if all goes well I should finish by tonight

Tanjiro: That's good news but please try not to strain yourself

Tamayo: Don't worry about me this is nothing to repay what I owe to you all

Tamayo's expression changed to a slightly more sinister one

Tamayo: The sooner I finish this the sooner That Man will finally die

Yushiro: (Lady Tamayo's sinister smile is even more beautiful than I imagined)

Tanjiro: R-right good luck to you Miss Tamayo and if you need anything don't hesitate to let us know

Tanjiro left the basement and closed the door it was installed as a secret compartment in the floor this way they could be hidden as they did their research

Tanjiro: (Right now Zenitsu and Inosuke are training with the other Hashira I hear that they're doing quite well in comparison to everyone else each Hashira was assigned a major to teach in Tengen: Grueling basic workouts, Mitsuri: Hellish Flexibility, Muichiro: High speed movement, Obanai: Swordsmanship, Sanemi: Infinite strikes, Gyomei: Strength Training, Rengoku: Perfected Breathing Technique, Kanae, Shinobu, and Ciel all taught Battle Strategies Tactics and Teamwork I heard it was Ciel's idea and she's mostly taken charge in the training though can occasionally be neglectful of it still I heard she's the smartest Hashira to ever join the Demon Slayer Corps, Brother and I would work together to teach as many Demon Slayers as possible how to attain the Demon Slayer mark but he insisted that his training cannot be started unless a Demon Slayer is either a Hashira or completed every single one of the Hashira's training he though I'm pretty sure he said that to stall as he isn't in the condition to train anyone right now still that does leave the Mansion quiet I've been training and meditating as much as I can I've even tried meditating and I've started to get glimpses of the past I think these are called inherited memories I've learned a lot by watching Grandfather Yoriichi's life but strangely enough occasionally I would catch a blurred glimpse of a presence that was so familiar all I could make out from it was a familiar blue it seemed as if this entity was observing and occasionally helping I caught a glimpse of it once and it's face was so bright and beautiful yet familiar I wonder who it could be)

As Tanjiro was lost in thought he heard knocks on the door

Tanjiro: (Is that Zenitsu trying to escape training no he would've attempted this sooner who is that) Who is it

Nezuko: TANJIRO DON'T OPEN THE DOOR

Tanjiro: NEZUKO

Before Tanjiro could do anything a light blue blur zoomed right past him

Rimuro: Nezuko is that really you

Nezuko: BROTHERS PLEASE DON'T OPEN THE DOOR

Doing the exact opposite of what she said Rimuro hastily opened the door but no sooner than he did he was hastily tackled to the ground Tanjiro just made it around to the door when he heard the commotion
