Pain swiped across my face for what had to have been the hundredth time that hour.

"Benjamin," her voice void of all sympathy towards me,"Just tell us. We don't have to keep doing this."

"I told you, I don't remember."

Another strike. The chair I had been tied to would've fallen over if the very strong man behind me had not been holding it down. My nose was definitely broken, a heavy stream of blood was flowing from it. I couldn't tell if the blood in my mouth was the same from my nose or if I had possibly bitten my tongue.

"Ben," she was getting impatient,"We know how close to Nelson you are-"

"That doesn't mean he tells me anything!" I half-yelled at her. I just needed it to stop. I was getting dizzier by the second. She said something, but I couldn't hear what it was.

Benjamin.

The voice caused fear to root itself in my heart.  No. Stop it. Not here. Not now. I forced my eyes to focus on the woman in front of me.

"Is something wrong?" She asked.

I glared at her. A headache started  forming.

Benjamin, don't ignore me.

I  don't know what you're planning, but stop it.

Where are you?

I tried to shut his voice out and focus on the question I had been asked. "What?" I croaked.

The man hit me again, sending me into the dark void where  he  was.

"Benjamin, I am getting impatient."

"I don't know where I am," I told him,"They kidnapped me."

"Then figure it out and report back," he sighed,"I await our next chat."

I snapped back to the two  people I was growing to hate by the second. "For God's sake, you're going to kill him if you hit him again," she shook her head at the man,"We're not like him, we're not murderers."

I ignored the jab at myself and focused on trying to get air in.

"We can be done for today," she waved her hand dismissively,"Take him to his cell."

He untied me and gravity caused me to fall to the floor. The man scoffed and called someone into the room.  Him and his friend picked me up and dragged me out of the room. I felt like I was being carried for hours but my foggy head couldn't comprehend anything that was happening.  I was eventually dropped in the room from before and once again handcuffed to the wall.  They were about to leave when I managed to form a question.

"Where am I?"

"Somewhere where they won't find you." He spat the word 'they.'

I don't know why I even asked. I didn't want him to find me. I suppose I felt compelled to do what he asked. They slammed the door closed. I looked around the room. The walls were concrete, on one of said walls I saw a security camera. The room reminded me of Syntec. I couldn't find one damn place where I wasn't monitored like some animal.

Okay, I know it sounds bad from how he describes it, but I had no part in his interrogation. Claire-

Full names please.

What? Oh. Claire Brown, could get a little bit carried away with scientists from Syntec. I guess I can't blame her, they did kill her brother, William Brown. He had been a subject for the Pegasus serum. He died two months into his treatment, Claire had been bitter ever since.
