"Tadaaa, my secret comfort place this is my other cottage, me and Charles made it before he left me" he opened the door and eye signal me to go inside first.
"Another pretty cottage" i touch his old pictures frame "so tiny" I'd whisper
"This cottage is literally the end of our garden, dad never knew about this place, we're so good at hiding something hahaha" he laughed then smiled.
"After my dad and Charles left me all alone here, i want to plant something that will make this cottage more coverage" he sit besides me in the couches. He give me his picture album
"Why did you show me about this cottage? I mean I am nobody to you, i only work for you..." I looked into his eyes.
"Because i can, i can show this place to anybody i want to show." As he looked at me back
"Mhm" i look at the pictures in the album.
"Is this you?" I asked him again but this time without look at him.
"Yes, i was six that time" he get up from his sit i look at him with confusion.
He takes some more pictures inside the room that cottage have.
"Here my picture when i was 17" he gave me the picture and...i think i know this school badge.
"I know this school badge..this is my school!" I looked into his face
"Oh really? So we've been in same school? Im 25 now."
"22 now..." "Why did you sound sad?" He looked at me
"Girl on my age is usually in their University life and Work life but here i am being abused by someone who i call 'husband' and a 'husband' that tell me i can go study and work but instead of giving me the permission of doing that he urged me to just stay at home." I rolled my eyes.
"You've been abused?" There shocked in his eyes suddenly he hold my hand, warm.
"....yes." i continue look at his photos
"You're safe now." He wake up and go to the kitchen, after a minute taking two mug with him

"Thank you" i drank it, delicious hm
5 hours later
"I need to prepared his dinner how did i end up sleeping here? urgh" i walked with anger i let it out like bro how did i ended up fall asleep?
I opened the door and go to the kitchen but as soon as i arrived, i saw him serving the food.
"Shit" i whisper to myself
"You awake? I'm sorry i left you alone there, you look really tired so i don't want to wake you up, and sorry to let you walk alone in the garden must be scary" he pulled out the chair and asked me to sit there
"Nah, it's actually kinda pretty i mean there still a light so i still can see the path and I'm sorry this should be my work but instead of me doing the dinner you already made it, I'm sorry." I felt sorry okay?
"It's okay tho, eat the food before its get cold" he smiled at me and eat his food.
Damn this lamb chops is so good
"Did you made this? I meant really? You didn't buy it?" He raised his eyebrows
"I mean the Culinary Art degree won't come by itself right? Of course i made this" he looked at me with a serious look, lol please don't look at me like that-
"Oh- well it's delicious gotta say that this is the best lamb chops I've ever eat" i ate it happily hehehehee
"Thank you, i could do this everyday lol if you like" that a good offer oh my goddddd but
