Always and Forever // Rudy Pankow

Part 1 ☆

Ellie's pov

I was stretched out on the beach with my eyes closed. Rudy's hand was only inches from mine as he lay next to me. The sun's rays burned against my skin, but it was a pleasant warmth. We lay there in silence and the only thing i heard was my own and Rudy's breathing. 

"And cut!", Jonas shouted. "It was great, good job"

I slowly opened my eyes and sat up to brush the sand off my clothes. I looked to my side and smiled at Rudy who was still lying in the sand with his eyes closed. 

"Ruds, we're done", I whispered.

He opened his eyes and looked sleepily at me. 

"Were you sleeping?", I asked, giggling. 

"No, of course not", he said, grimacing. 

"Mmm", I hummed, shaking my head slowly. 

We went back to the trailers and found the others in the shade under a large tree. Chase and Madelyn were in the hammock and Maddie and Jonathan were sitting on the grass with their backs against the tree. Drew and Austin were sitting next to Madison and JD playing some game. 

"How did it go", Madison asked when she saw me and Rudy. 

"Great, Rudy slept through the whole scene", I replied. 

"Haha, you did?", Chase laughed looking at Rudy. 

"No, I didn't, Rudy tried to defend himself. 

"It's okay, you did a good job", I said with a big grin and patted him on the shoulder. 

He pressed his lips together and we both sat down on the grass next to Madison. 

"Good job Ruds", Madelyn nodded and pointed at Rudy. 

"It was actually very comfortable", he said a moment later. 

"I knew it!", I said. 

Everyone started laughing and I just shook my head at my friend, but then I couldn't help but start laughing too. 

We had been filming for a whole week now and we had all become better and better friends every second we spent together. I have never had friends who have made me laugh as much as these people have. I am truly so grateful to have had the chance to shoot this series with such wonderful people, I probably didn't even realize how lucky I am until now.

The scene that me and Rudy just shot was going to be the start of our characters Layla and JJ's love story, and I absolutely loved how well our characters fit together and how they were truly meant for each other. It almost gave me goosebumps every time I thought about it. 

"Shall we have a movie night at our place today, to celebrate that we've been recording for a whole week now?", Chase wondered, looking at his roommates Rudy and JD. 

"Hell yes", Rudy replied. 

"I'm in", Jonathan nodded. 

"Yay movie night at Chase, Rudy and JD's!", Drew shouted happily. 

"Woho", Austin continued. 

"Yesss", Mads said with a smile. "I've been waiting for this!"

"Me to!", I agreed. 

"Yay!", said Maddie and held up her arms in happiness. 

After we finished all the scenes for the day and Jonas let us go, Madelyn and I went home to our apartment to get ready for the evening. I jumped out of my old and somewhat dirty sneakers before going into my room to change clothes. Since we had put on makeup before filming, I didn't have to put anything new on so Mads and I immediately started helping each other with our clothes.
