The whole school now thought Sirius and Remus were dating. Videos students took of the situation were posted all over social media, and Marlene was finally facing reprocussion for her actions, but they didn't think it was enough to fire her. She was pretty much suspended, if that was a word to could use for teachers. She was not to step foot on school property for three weeks, then afterwards she could return, but was encouraged (not enforced) to avoid Sirius. for a while afterwards.

"I'm so glad she's gone!" Sirius burst into the staff room happily, all the others there seemed to be interrogating Remus about the other day. James and Peter were uncomfortably close to Remus, who looked uncomfortable, and grateful to see Sirius finally show up.

"Wait a second, so are you and Remus like actually together?" James asked, making Sirius realize that the others had no idea of their situation.

"Uhm..." Sirius and Remus made eye contact with each other, not sure weather to tell everyone or not.

"Hey boys how about we let them wait will they're ready to talk about it, then they will tell us all they want." Lily stepped in, pulling James back, whispering something into his ear.

"Y-Yeah, and besides I think we should head to class, lots to do today since it's Friday." Sirius said. Everyone agreed and headed to their own classes. Once the others were gone, Remus sighed.

"You showed up later than usual today." Remus said to Sirius.

"Yeah, slept in on accident." Sirius laughed awkwardly, "Sorry I didn't realize they were the way they are. I'm not sure whether we should tell them or not, James is a huge chatterbox, more than me."

"Maybe for now it's best they think we're actually together, itll help sell it to everyone else." Remus and Sirius bumped into each other as they walked in a comfortable silence for a bit afterwards.

"We might have to act the part, I'm not sure who would say anything to Marlene or our bosses, if they yhink we're not actually together they might somehow believe her outrageous lie." Sirius sighed.

"Im sorry you've been put in a situation like this. I'm here for you" Remus placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Thanks. Hey, how about we hang out after work, it is the weekend after all." Sirius suggested. The teachers were standing outside of Sirius's classroom now.

"Just the two of us, or with everyone?" Remus asked.

"Just the both of us. Is that okay?" Sirius felt his face get hot, he knew this wasn't a date, but he wished it could have been.

"Yeah that sounds fun, where do you want to meet?" Remus asked. Out of the corner of his eye, Sirius saw Harry Ron and Hermione approaching.

"I'll tell you later, you should get to your class." Sirius smiled and pushed him away.

"Hey professors! congratulations!" Hermione said enthusiastically to the two, startling Sirius.

"Um, thank you. I should be heading off." Remus said and headed off to his class, leaving Sirius alone with the students.

"So, you and Professor Lupin, huh?" Ron asked as Sirius went to unlock his classroom. The three students stared at him with a knowing look. Sirius knew his face was red.

"I wish... Don't tell anyone, especially not other teachers but we did it to get marl- Ms McKinnon to leave me alone." Sirius stammered.

"Oh, yeah that's still going on, I'm sorry Sirius." Ron said genuinely, a frown plastered on his face.

"I can tell you like him though." Harry said.

"Wh-why do you say that harry?" Sirius was taken aback, surprised at how confident Harry seemed in knowing his feelings.

Harry shrugged, "I know you sirius." He said before heading to his seat next to his friends.

When fourth period started, Sirius noticed he still hasn't told Remus about where they would meet, so he decided to stop by Remus's classroom.

Sirius approached the classroom and leaned against the doorframe, watching as Remus taught his class. Remus was holding a small book, wearing a pair of glasses Sirius had never seen before. He was beautiful.

Remus looked up from his book to see Sirius. He finished the passage he was reading then asked another student to continue reading out loud. Remus walked over to the doorway where Sirius was and took his glasses off.

"You look good with those glasses on." Sirius whispered with a smirk on his face.

"What do you need Sirius?" Remus asked, rubbing his temple.

"We need to figure out where we are meeting after school, how about we just stay at my place?" Sirius asked.

"I'm good with that, now I really must get back to teaching my students for the rest of class." Remus said, and left Sirius in the doorway. Sirius decided to linger a little longer than he should have to watch Remus teach the students. Sirius couldn't say he wasn't attracted to the man, who occasionally glanced in his direction. Eventually Sirius slipped out of the classroom and went back to his own to finish grading homework so that he had less to do over the weekend.

Alright I am somehow updating on a somewhat normal schedule. I have lots planned for this story. I have one thing I'm not sure if I should give more details to. Would you guys like a chapter just about James and his past with how he got together with lily? I don't want to give away too much about what is going on with James but if yall want a chapter about him I will happily write it. Alternatively I could do one about Regulus, he has a larger part in these upcoming chapters as well.
