"How was everything with marlene?" Remus walked into Sirius's classroom after the bell rang.

"Well, she said she would tell everyone that James cheated on lily freshman year of College. I don't understand why it's such a big deal." Sirius sighed.

"Well, explain to me what happened." Remus pulled up a chair and sat next to Sirius, waiting for the description.

"Okay so she had photos and videos of proof saying that freshman year of college, James and Regulus were sleeping together secretly, but I know most of that year lily was dealing with her break up with snivellus, she didn't start dating James until around the end of the year, and it most likely happened before him and Lily were together. I know he wouldn't do that to Lily." Sirius explained.

"Well, based on my information, maybe she is just hurt by the fact he never told her even if it was before they were dating, but there's still the possibility that he cheated." Remus said.

"I need to talk to reggie." Sirius said abruptly, already standing up and packing his things.

"Do you want me to go with you?" Remus asked.

"Nah, I think I got it. Thanks." Sirius smiled and decided to pull Remus into a hug. Sirius breathed in his scent as he held him close. He wished it could have lasted forever, but he had to pull away.

Lily sat silently with James in his office. He had to stay after school to teach sectionals, but she insisted on talking to him before then.

James sat looking down at his hands, which were placed on his knees. He knew what Lily was going to say, and he was not looking forward to it. How could he possibly explain? What if it ruined their relationship forever? That would ruin poor Harry.

"So... you and Regulus, huh?" Lily started.

"Yeah... he really helped me figure myself out back then know." James looked up at her, unable to look into her beautiful green eyes, the same eyes that were passed down to their wonderful son.

Lily took a deep breath, which seemed loud in the totally silent room. "Did you cheat on me?" She whispered weakly.

James leaned forward and held her hands, looking into her eyes the best he could.

"Lily potter, you know I've been in love with you since the day I met you. Even when you didn't love me back, even when I thought I loved someone else, you were always in the back of my head. Everything I did with Regulus was purely experimental. I was questioning my sexuality, and for a while, I thought I liked him, and then you broke up with snivellus, and we grew close again. I let my stupid thing with Regulus go on for far too long, but it meant nothing. He never spoke to me afterward. The first time I talked to him since then was just a few days ago. I asked him to talk to Sirius. Nothing else." He told her, ending with a small smile, which she did not smile back.

"So you did cheat on me." Lily said. she pulled her hands out of her husband's.

"The day we started dating, I went to see Regulus to tell him we had to stop, but I didn't have the courage to. When I saw him, he was crying over something and he never cries, then he kissed me, and I didn't want to make him feel worse than he already did, but after that, I ended it. I promise." He explained.

"James, your heart will be the death of you." Lily said with a small smile on her face. Her expression was still saddened but not as sad as before.

While Sirius was dealing with his problems, Remus had some of his own.

His feelings.

He never really liked to think about how he felt, after France, he promised himself he wouldn't get too attached to someone who just showed the tiniest sliver of kindness, but his situation with Sirius was compromising.

Remus stared at himself through his bathroom mirror, hair wet from his cold shower, trying to clear his mind, but he couldn't stop it from running.

He suggested the fake dating to Sirius who accepted happily to get him away from marlene, but that would be over soon, but every time Remus looked at Sirius, he remembered kissing his soft lips, holding him by the hips. He desperately wanted to do it again, but he couldn't let himself.

Sirius wouldn't use him or hurt him on purpose, but there was always the possibility. Nobody was predictable.

Remus didn't know what to do or if he could keep doing what he was doing. Sirius was an overly affectionate person. Every touch sets Remus on fire, making him want more, making him want to run away. He wished he could trust people, but after him, Remus wasn't so sure.

Regulus opened his door to see the familiar face of his brother. It had probably been months since they last properly spoke, but Regulus didn't care much. Of course, he cared about Sirius, but that didn't mean he had to talk to him often.

"Hey Reg," Sirius smiled awkwardly. Regulus stepped out of the way to let his brother enter his home. "Thank you. I didn't smack her or anything because I could get in tro for that, but I didn't give into her demands." Sirus said. He beeline for Regulus's armchairs, which both sat by a fireplace with a television above it. He plopped down on one armchair, and Regulus sat on the opposite side.

"That's a start." Regulus said. His roommates were not home, and he was secretly hoping they wouldn't show up anytime soon. He didn't need any more teasing or questioning. "Did she tell you about...?" Regulus's voice faded off, but he didn't have to finish his sentence, Sirius's face told him everything.

"Yeah, and Lily was with me." Sirius muttered, "look i honestly do not care what you do even if you are my brother and he's my best friend, I just want the best for both you and him, and Lily of course. Please tell me he didn't cheat on her. She already went to talk to him about it, which I'm glad for, but I think she's really upset James never told her." Sirius frowned when he saw his brothers face. He already knew the response, and he was sure Lily already knew.

"He did, but only once, and he felt extremely upset about it. It's all my fault, honestly, not his. He was going to break up with me sooner, but my stupid feelings got in the way, and you know him. He is such a caring guy. He dropped everything just to make sure I was alright." Regulus was looking blankly into the campfire, refusing to look over at his brother, fearing getting yelled at. Regulus kept this information to himself and James for so long. He felt like if anyone found out, he would be reprimanded. The same thing that always happened while he lived with his parents.

Oml another chapter.
Thank you guys for the support, I'm glad people like this story, because I do too. I haven't been writing as often as I'd like to but I still have a few chapters written ahead of my upload schedule I think I have like 16 chapters right now, something like that and I'm constantly going back and forth trying to make sure everything all makes sense. I hope there's no plot holes. I'm really excited for what is going to happen in a few chapters and I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for reading
