Ok, so, for those who don't know what is Purim, I'm going to explain now.
Purim is a Jewish holiday which commemorates the saving of the Jewish people from Haman, an official of the Achaemenid Empire who was planning to have all of Persia's Jewish subjects killed.
Purim is usually celebrated in the Hebrew month of Adar, which is usually translated into March in the Gregorian calendar.
Just for the record, what I'm going to say now is not necessarily the right way to celebrate Purim, it's only my way to celebrate it, so if there's anyone who celebrating this holiday differently and do not agree with what I'm saying, it's ok! Different people are celebrating in different ways.
Anyway
In Purim, It is customary to wear a custom, Quite like in Halloween, only that in Purim, it's doesn't have to be scary.
We also exchanging gifts of food and drink, known as mishloach manot, which are basically packages where there are sweets and haman ears (a kind of a candy, not an actual ear)
