Both Sophia and Hestia sat in the church of the Hestia Familia. Both were facing each other as Sophia made tea for the both of them. As Sophia was making the tea Hestia couldn't help but feel uneasy in front of her. From the naked eye, she seems like a normal person other than having a collar around her neck but Hestia couldn't help but feel on edge. After a bit of silence as Sophia heated the tea Hestia spoke.

"So this agreement what is it that you want to talk to me about?"

"Agreement? Ah yes, I almost forgot..." Sophia said as she poured herself and Hestia a cup of tea.

"To put it simply I would like to work for you and the Hestia Familia." Sophia said crossing her legs and sipping her tea. Hestia's eyes widened in surprise.

"So you want to join my Familia?" Hestia asked as Sophia laughed

"Haha no no when I say work for I don't mean join your Familia I mean I'm just going to be someone like a maid or accountant for your Familia." Sophia said smiling at Hestia as Hestia looked confused.

"I don't want to officially join your  Familia where you give me falna and all that. It'll just be a paper contract between me and you." Sophia said as Hestia said nothing for the moment and then spoke.

"Why do you want to work for me? I don't have a lot to offer as a Familia if you couldn't tell." She said as she waved her hand showing the old room that they were in.

Sophia didn't say anything for a moment as she took another sip of her tea. When Hestia first met Sophia she couldn't help but feel that something was off about her. Everyone has an aura human, beastman, elves even monsters. However, when Hestia looks at Sophia its like all of them including monsters are just stuck to her like a strange amalgam of souls stuck together. An anomaly of sorts. Hestia knew that this woman...was dangerous.

"Goddess it would seem you haven't taken a sip of your tea. Is it not to your liking?" Sophia asked as Hestia smiled at her waving her hand.

"Sorry, there's nothing wrong with the tea." Hestia said as she took her cup and had a sip. As she did she couldn't help but be surprised at it's sweet flavor.

"Oh wow, this is good." She says as Sophia only nodded putting the cup down and pouring herself more tea.

"I'm glad you like it anyway how about it, would it be fine if I work for you I'll even fight in the War Game if you want."

"But wouldn't you need to join my famila so I can update your status? Fighting could be dangerous you know." Hestaia asked.

"Well, I did go all the way to the 18th floor to protect Bell and his friends from any danger. I should be fine to take down level two adventures." Sophia said smiling at Hestia.

"So is it a deal that you'll let me work for you," Sophia said as Hestia only frowned.

"I'm going to be honest with you Sophia. I don't trust you. Even though you saved Bell and paid for the request. You also helped me get Lili back but I can't trust you." Hestia said as Sophia only continued smiling

"That makes sense. However, the only way to gain people's trust is by us working together." Sophia said as Hestia looked her in the eyes. Hestia couldn't see anything in her eyes. It was looking into the void.

"Alright then tell me this what are you?" Hestia said as she was trying to find a reaction from Sophia but found nothing. Sophia only smiled.

"I'm just a living being trying to live life."
Sophia answered.

"Don't try to avoid the question. You should know that you can't lie to a Goddess." Hestia frowned again at Sophia's answer. Sophia only smiled and took another sip of her tea before answering.
