54. Come back to me

3rd person POV.

"What?!... But how do I even do that? Don't we need a vampire specialized in this sort of thing? And where am I going to get my blood from then?" Katsuki kept rambling out some questions and recovery girl knew all the answers. "I'll explain everything on the way to the bedroom, come on we need to hurry he doesn't have much time left." She said as they ran out of her office. 

upon arriving in the room where Izuku was dying, Recovery girl explained everything to Katsuki. "A very old legend says any vampire can turn a human if it's true love." Katsuki couldn't believe his ears, he could save Izuku. "But if it isn't true love then the human dies instantly." Recovery girl added and Katsuki's heart stopped at the thought. Normally our hard-as vampire wouldn't care that much about someone if it works great and if it doesn't well that's too bad, But since we're talking about Izuku this can't go wrong. If it did go sideways then Izuku would die because of him and he would never be able to forgive himself.

"Bakubro?" Kirishima's voice pulled Katsuki out of his thoughts. "You okay?" The redhead asked his best friend. Everyone was suddenly gathered in the room. Katsuki looked around and instead of his crime colleagues, he saw his dear friends. "What do you think? Izuku is dying and can save him but if it goes wrong then I kill him myself. I can't do this, even if there's a chance I can't risk it." Katsuki said. "Don't think about it that way, bro. You're trying to save him, you won't kill him." Kirishima started. "Yeah man and besides he won't die you love him too much to let go." Kaminari jumped into the conversation and before Katsuki knew it everyone who was there convinced him to do it. 

"But what if it doesn't work? You said it was only a legend. so how do you know this will work?" Katsuki asked Recovery girl as she sighed. "When I was your age I fell in love with a vampire, One day he went on a trip and to protect me he turned me with true love. After that, he never came back and I thought he left me so the bite didn't work anymore and I started aging until I was 85 I think and that's when I found out that he was killed by vampire hunters. so I loved him again and ever since I didn't age anymore. So it's more than a legend."She explained. "Okay, recovery girl, tell me what to do I'm ready." Katsuki said with confidence. "It's important that you only think about him, not about anything else and while you bite him you need to band with him, feel your connection, feel the love you feel for him. Since Izuku isn't awake he won't be able to do it back so it will be harder to succeed."

Katsuki walked up to Izuku and dropped to his knees next to the bed. "Izuku, I'm going to heal you, I'm gonna bring you back to me but I'm going to need your help, please think about our love." Katsuki whispered softly as he placed his forehead on Izuku's. "I love you so much." Katsuki squeezed his eyes shut praying to whatever god is out there to save his Izuku. Without losing any more precious time Katsuki pulled Izuku's shirt a bit down to have more access to bite. Opening his mouth, his fangs were ready to bite, thinking about their love Katsuki bit down into Izuku's neck. Everyone in the room was quiet and thinking about their precious moments together. 

Katsuki didn't let go of Izuku's neck, He was biting Izuku for a couple of minutes now but nothing has changed. Everyone who was in the room looked at one another. Katsuki tried again, he let go of Izuku's neck and bit it again, and again.  "Bakubro... That's enough." Kirishima started but Katsuki wasn't planning on stopping. "Mr. Bakugo..." Recovery girl started but she couldn't finish it. Katsuki kept going until Kirishima placed his hand on his shoulder. "He's gone... You tried." Katsuki froze on the spot, he stared down at his cold lover letting a single tear escape his crimson eyes. 

It was quiet in the room, dead silent. until, "No." Everyone looked over at Katsuki. "No, he's not gone. He's still here, I'm not giving up." Katsuki said as he wiped away his tears and kissed Izuku. Kirishima was about to stop him but Recovery girl stopped him first. "Let him be, he needs some time." She said as everyone started leaving the room.

"They're already giving up on you, Izuku. But don't worry I'm still here, I won't ever give up." Katsuki said as he kept kissing Izuku's cold lips. Suddenly Katsuki got bitten on his lips. He pulled up to look at Izuku and happiness filled him as he saw that Izuku was alive and awake. "Izuku! You're alive! I love you so much don't ever do something like that again you hear me or I might chain you up again." Katsuki said acting like he was mad but he wasn't. He was so happy and relieved until he saw Izuku's eyes.

They were red.
