After walking down the pathway, the applicants alongside the parents were given their designated codes and were told where they would be interviewed by the higher ups.

(Y/n)'s code was B-141, and they were told they would be on Venue 3. The Forgers, code K-212, was assigned in Venue 1. Fortunately enough, both 'families' were taking the same way towards their respective venues.

"We still have eyes on us," Loid spoke. "Don't let your guard down."

"It makes me rather nervous to know we're being watched..." Yor said.

For Viper though, he slightly smirked the moment he felt the eyes of the evaluators when he took his first steps inside the academy. It reminded him of the days when he was conducting assasination and counter-sniper operations.

"I wanna pick a booger." Anya added.

"Don't you dare." Loid warned.

"Oh no! I slipped by accident, and got stuck in the gutter!" A voice belonging to a young boy echoed in the air.

Both the (L/n) and Forgers looked to where the cry came from. (Y/n) deadpanned upon seeing the boy. Although the boy's situation was quite unfortunate, the cover for the gutter was perfectly flat with the ground, so it was no accident to him and is very obvious that it was lifted up.

'Clearly, they're trying to test us, but some subtlety, please.' Loid said in his mind.

'No one's going near him, possibly because they think he's a wacko.' Alexandra thought.

While the boy continued to blabber, Loid puts down his case and gave Anya a gentle pat on the shoulder.

"Father! Mother! Someone's in trouble! We help!" Anya declared, while pointing at the boy.

The Forgers were about to approach the troubled boy, but they were stopped by (Y/n).

"Loid, wait." (Y/n) said. "That kid's gonna flailing around and get your clothes wet. I'll take the lead."

At that moment, (Y/n) pulled out a foldable umbrella from his suit and used it as a shield.

(Y/n) approached the boy casually, holding his umbrella in front of him. The boy, just as he expected, began to flail more violently, splashing more water around. The umbrella did its job very well at preventing him from getting wet.

He waited for the boy to get exhausted, and just seconds later, the boy stopped. (Y/n) sets the umbrella aside and looked at Loid. Loid nodded and using both of his hands, gently pulled out the boy from the gutter.

"Are you hurt?" Loid asked.

"I'll give you my handkerchief." Anya offered.

"No, he needs a towel." Aaron said, pulling out a towel from his tuxedo and handing it to the boy.

'Even a towel?!' Henry shouted internally again.

"Go get changed. You still have an interview to attend to." Aaron added.

The boy took the towel, thanked Aaron, and bid his goodbye.

"And they even helped the boy get changed...!" Henry remarked. He then turns around and did his signature pose. "Smart! Smart and elegant!"

The other evaluators deadpanned, as if they're all thinking the same thing — ah shit, here we go again.

"Master, we're here to assess the child, you know?" One of the teachers spoke.
