I grab my leather jacket, it felt so smooth, I didn't need a heavy coat. I went out for the bus stop. My sister, Sadie had already left. I leave kinda later. The bus zooms in and the door swings open. I wave out the window. A girl sitting next to me, gasps. "Woah, you live there?" She asks, "lucky, I live in an apartment. We can't afford that."

I look down and frown. "Sorry to hear that, hope everything gets better, my dad owns a big company someone could work for. You make a lot of money." I explain to the girl. "Cool! I'm Cat," Cat says. "You're a cat?" I joke, Cat giggles. "No! Silly!" Cat laughs so hard, the bus pulls over before reaching the next stop.

"Cat, please quiet down, thank you," Mr. Robinson, the bus driver said. The bus pulls up to the next stop, I don't care, me and Cat and are just talking. "Do you have an iPhone?" Asks Cat. I nod. "Me too! It's an iPhone 12." Cat nods. "Mine is a 14 pro max." Cat gasps. "Lucky! I wanted that phone," Cat grumbles.

"We can switch phones-"
"No." Mr. Robinson grumbles.
"Sorry," I say firmly.

Mr. Robinson rolls his eyes in disappointment. Sorry. I think sadly, I frown again. Cat lifts my head up, "wait, you never told me your name," Cat exclaims. "It's Annalise, I prefer Anna or Lisa," I explain to Cat. She nods as if she were saying, "got it!"

I look back down at the paper I'm holding. It says, "your teaching is Mrs. Cepheus, 4th grade, room 252, upstairs. Please ask a nearby teacher if you are lost. Sincerely, Francis Bonston, Principal." Cat takes a glance at my paper. "I have Mrs. Cepheus too!" Cat cheers. We squeal quietly so Mr. Robinson doesn't get mad.

At school

I arrive at the school, I look around. "Wow, what a beautiful school," I say to Cat. Cat nods and looks around her. "Where's Mary?" She asks herself. "Who is Mary?" I wonder. "My 3rd grade best friend, we can all be friends!" Cat cheers. I cheer along too. "Get to your class!" Screams a lady in a bun.

"S-Sorry," I stutter, nervously. I saw 9th grade going upstairs. So many floors. I think.

I arrive at my classroom. I went to greet Mrs. Cepheus, but a blondie went up to her. She had pink lipstick. "Of course, a Barbie," mutters Cat, whispering. "Hey, where's the skip homework for a week pass?" Asks the blondie. "You just give me the Cup Cubs to pay for it, poster's right there." Mrs. Cepheus explains.

The class store is already open? Doesn't make sense, I think. The blondie looks at me. "What are you looking at? Nerd!" She snatches my glasses off and throws them. Mrs. Cepheus grabs onto her, making her tangled. "Charlotte! Stop!" Hisses Mrs. Cepheus. I pick my glasses back up.

I walk to my seat, frowning. "It's okay," Cat mutters. A girl with cute glasses comes in. Cat looks up and gasps. "Mary!" She shrieks. They run and hug, I don't feel like hugging right now. I think, frowning still, my eyes sting and everything is blurry. Oh no, oh no! I'm crying! I over stress myself, I fall out of my seat. Charlotte aka Barbie Girl laughs.

I wish you were here, Sadie. You're strong.

I seat down at my seat, until Brian aka Prince Harry 2.0 grabs onto my seat. "Hey~" Prince Harry 2.0 mumbles. "What? I'm tryna read," I murmur. "Sorry, just wanted to say hey," Prince Harry winks.

Oh boy.
