"How did I get here sitting next to you?"

POV: 3rd person

"Cough cough"

"Don't tell me you're already exhausted." One brown eye gazed down at Y/N with malicious intent. The sole of his shoe dug into the boy's stomach and an aching pain spread throughout his body. The tips of the boy's fingers were buzzing and the room was spinning in circles. The silhouette was the only thing fading in and out of his vision.

"Sigh, get up." The voice was not in the slightest bit friendly. His shoes dug deeper into the pits of Y/N stomach. His eye sharpened. "I said-" His foot lifts up and stomps back down. "-get up!" Blood was profoundly slipping out from the side of Y/N mouth. "Please...s-stop.." Y/N choked out. The pain slightly faded away, but the gnawing aching was still left behind. The voice whispered next to his ear.

...

"You're weak."

As the young man laid on one of the hard beds of the Agency he couldn't help but recall that time at the Port Mafia. He bit his bottom lip. Staring at the yellowish ceiling didn't help him from thinking of anything else.

"..."

He shook his head and sneered. That was a long time ago. He has changed and grown stronger..right?

A yawn couldn't help but to escape from his lips. He pushed himself off of the bed and straightened his white shirt out. As he watched the folds decrease he remembered why he was in that room to begin with.

The bomb.

Y/N shivered. The last thing he wanted was for Yosano to come back and give him another inspection. Getting treatment from her more than once was already too much to begin with. He quickly grabbed his coat and his sheathed katana that was leaning on a soft green chair. Feeling the smooth fabric of the sheath in his hands, once again, made him feel more relaxed. At least nothing happened to it...

"Who are you?"

Y/N shoulders tensed back up. He slowly turned around with wide eyes. Before him laid a young girl with her hair sprawled out in a messy tangle.
She stared back through half lidded eyes. She was fumbling with the silk fabric of the bedsheets.

"It's you..."

The little girl wearing a traditional kimono seemed to pop back into his head. Her mouth was slightly agape, proving that she also remembered him.

"I see." Y/N made his way towards her calmly and steadily so as not to frighten, or trigger her. "By the looks of it, I'm guessing you had something to do with the bombing incident?"

Her eyes whisked away to the medicine bottles behind him. Not saying a word, she continued to shift her eyes around to anywhere but Y/N eyes in silence. Y/N sighed, shaking his head. "What's your name, kid." He sat down on the chair next to her bed. "There has to be some stupid reason for you to take part in a crime like that, no?" Y/N narrowed his eyes.

Her lips parted to form a sentence when she was caught off guard by the voices coming from outside the infirmary. The door opens with a squeak and there stood Yosano in surprise. "You're awake." She said softly before glancing at the silent girl behind Y/N. Her fingers slid off the doorknob, leaving it cold and glimmering. "You should know that girl is an assassin from the Port Mafia. I wouldn't get too close if I were you." She said, nonchalantly walking over to her desk.

"Is that true." Y/N looked back at the young girl with the long blue hair.

She hummed, nodding her head. Her eyes met Y/N in hesitance. "You didn't answer my question." He blinked owlishly in confusion before recalling what she had asked when he was getting up to leave. "My name's Y/N. I'm a member of the Armed Detective Agency." He smiled gently at her. "And now it's your turn."
