Jeongyeon's Pov
Here I am watching Y/n, my annoying fianceé turn upside down just from balancing herself in her ODM gear. It was funny to look at and Instructor Irene's reaction was priceless, even funnier when Momo splits her potato less than half
"Y/n, come here so I can teach you how to perfectly handle a-"
"Oh, this shit is defective.."
I gave the gear to Irene and she was beyond disappointed than she was earlier. I gave Y/n my belt and she tries again, succeeded in the trial making me smirk in victory..
"Good job, darling.. You did well"
"I-I don't usually succeed but you know, you won't reach something if you don't try" She stutters, the red covering her cheeks was just too cute to handle. I kissed her lips softly and held her by the waist, she's so soft I couldn't stand her cuteness
"Do I get a reward from it though?"
"I guess a batch of ice cream would do" I said, ruffling her curly hair then kissed her slightly exposed forehead. She giggles and nestled her face against my neck, we were by the cabin having our own moment as I watched Momo run around as punishment and to risk it than not having a meal
3rd Person's Pov
Few months later, Y/n had her first kill which was the titan that ate her mother and got the Colossal Titan ALMOST minced like garlic yet it was quick to vanish as if it was a hallucination
"I'll avenge you, Mom"
"Y/n..you alright? You seem shaken up" Jeongyeon caressed Y/n's shoulders, feeling them tense beneath her touch made her frown. Her lover has gone out of her mind. I mean who wouldn't, your home was crushed to pieces, family and friends eaten by those humongous creatures
"Darling, calm down-"
"I'll drive every single one of them out, I'll fight and retake what's ours!" Y/n screams to herself, her grip on her swords tightened as she stared at multiple steaming and disintegrating bodies of the Titans she faced. They were on one of the destroyed houses in Shiganshina as they were gonna retake what was left of it and hopefully bring humanity back to its shape
"Calm down, we'll find our way out of this"
Jeongyeon backhugs her, the sun setting from the midst of the smokey area and the tall walls, Y/n sighs deeply, pushing her blades back into it's cases and stood shakily
"I hope so, Jeong.. I hope so"
"Now come, I heard Mina saying to gather by Wall Rose for reporting" The couple flew back to the group, Y/n wasn't surprised that half of the Scouts and recruits were either left dead or injured coming from the covered corpses and bandaged soldiers. Commander Jihyo stood with Seulgi, Mina and the others sharing their insights about the mission of sealing Wall Maria
"Y/n, we've been looking for you.. Have you taken control of your Hardening yet?"
"N-No, but Commander Yoo will help me along with it later!" Y/n stutters, breaking off in sweat as Commander Jihyo stared sternly. She receives a nod from her and they were told to go back to the barracks for rest
"Y/nn, come have a shower with me"
"Okay" Y/n strips off her jacket and shirt, leaving herself topless same with the older. They got into the tub and stared into nothingness, not a word was said but just quietness
"You did good today, I saw how you managed to break off the Armored Titan's nape but I w-was hella worried when he threw you off-"
"I'm fine, not a scratch" The short reply made the blonde worry even more, she scoots closer and held the girl in her arms hoping to make her feel better. Y/n sighs, nestling her face on Jeongyeon's neck and her arms slipping around her waist
"I hope we'll get to marry each other once this war is over"
"We will, and I'll make sure that happens" Jeongyeon's lips latched on hers softly, tears fell from their eyes as they savored the moment just with the two of them alone. They cleaned themselves up from the gunk and blood from their bodies, got into their casual clothes then met with the rest of the gang
"Y/nn, how's it going with Jeong?"
"Still the sweetest woman, I dunno what to do without her.. I'm still marrying her after this hell of a war" Sana smiles, patting her shoulder whilst Momo munches on bread as usual and Tzuyu looking at Sana PROTECTIVELY and was ready to pounce at Y/n any moment if she does something funny to her woman. She noticed three pairs of eyes looking over to her, talking to each other as if something secretive was said
"I'll be right back, Sana-chan.. Excuse me for a bit"
"Hey Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Nayeonie.. Y'all good?" The trio nodded, small smiles were going too suspicious enough for Y/n but she shrugged it off.. They managed to break off a simple chit chat, laughing and making jokes to one another which made Jeongyeon smile as she watched from the cabin
"You do know Nayeon has a crush on Y/n, right?"
"Eh, Y/n's top of the class with you Mina.. I was not surprised if someone is tailing her ass" The penguin huffs quietly, she fixes her scarf on her neck neatly as she drank coffee.. Jeongyeon fixes her specs, observing Y/n's goofy movements as she came back to her
"Hey, can we do the Hardening training later at night? Or do you have other plans with Captain Seungwan and Commander Jihyo?"
"Oh we can do it later, I just want to rest with you for now" Y/n receives a soft peck on her cheek, she blushes and smacked Jeongyeon's chest playfully
"Aish, let's go get some rest then" Jeongyeon laughs and dragged her into her separate cabin from the Scouts. Y/n immediately hops into the bed, sighing at the warm covers and Jeongyeon couldn't help but snuggle with her
"Promise me, you'd always stay beside me.."
"I won't, but I'm always here.. And there" Y/n points to her lover's heart, they smiled and shared a kiss.. They were sure they'd fight this battle together, but of course.. In order to earn peace, one must sacrifice for the greatness of the whole
"JEONGYEON!"
"W-We gotta go back, I-I can handle them.. Please!" Y/n scolds Jihyo who had a blank stare, Y/n watched her lover burn in flames as she tries fighting off the Wall Titans, the flying boat went further away from the blonde's corpse. Y/n was infuriated until Seungwan had to hold her down and put her to sleep to prevent another shifting and alerting the other Titans
"Let's make sure we win this, so that J-Jeongyeon's death wasn't worthless.. And we owe Y/n big time"
"Okay, let me just calm myself down-" Seungwan assures Jihyo with a kiss, the Commander was shocked but she gave in. They frowned as they pulled away, holding in each other's embrace then soon laying Y/n down on the bench.
Y/n grieved for how many years, she knew she'd follow suit as she had less than 5 years left. She made her life worth a while fighting and avenging her wife killing the people outside the walls, she couldn't get the freedom she wanted but she wants to have that life with her Jeongyeon
"Wait for me, Jeong.. I'm coming home to you"
