*Ciel's POV*

To say that we were weren't tired would be an understatement, but we managed to get through the next step. It was a bit more easier than peeling but still took a lot out of us by the end of it, though Trey didn't look tired at all. But that was probably because he was used to doing this since he's a third year currently. I began to nurse my hands since they were sore and a little red from peeling and straining the chestnuts. I noticed that I wasn't as tired as the two but I didn't pay mind as Ace sighs in relief.

"There! Finally got 'em all pureed!" Ace said tiredly

"My arm is killing me..." Deuce said tiredly as he was rubbing his arm

"At least we made it through." I said with a small smile as I was tired as well but not to the same level as Ace and Deuce are.

"Nice work. It'll be all the sweeter for your pain!" Trey said with a smile

"The smell alone already has me droolin'..." Grim said with a drool despite being tired as well, I use a piece of cloth to clean the drool off his face.

"I just need to add butter and sugar to the chestnut paste, and a sensible splash of oyster sauce- that's my secret ingredient!" Trey explains

"Oyster sauce?!" Deuce and Ace asked in shock

"Oyster sauce?" I asked in confusion as I don't know what that bloody is, but with the two's reaction, I can tell it's not good.

"Yep. The umami of the oysters gives the cream a deep, savory flavor. I use this one here: Walrus-brand Young Oyster Sauce. All the best bakers use it in their tarts." Trey explains to us

"Really? But isn't oyster sauce like, super salty?" Deuce questions

"Some folks put chocolate into curry, don't they? Maybe it's the same idea." Ace suggested

'I remember having that kind of curry but it felt like it was for something important...' I thought before looking at Trey

"I don't think you use the oyster sauce in the tarts." I said to Trey as I didn't believe that it was an ingredient.

"Pfft... Ah ha ha ha! Ciel's right, I'm totally lying! No one in their right mind would put oyster sauce into a pastry." Trey said as he laughed

"What?! So you were just yankin' our chain?" Ace asked in annoyance as Trey laughed even more.

"Ah ah ha! I mean, if you'd used your brain, you'd have realized how ridiculous it was!" Trey stated to Ace

"I had a feeling since I know someone would put something salty in something that's meant to be sweet." I said as Trey nods in agreement

"Let that be a lesson to you. Don't believe everything you hear." Trey said to us

'That's very good advice, since I have amnesia, I don't know what could be right or wrong.'

"Feh. And here I thought that human was actually somewhat decent." Grim said with a deadpanned look as I chuckle and rolled my eyes.

"He is, Grim. Though I think your reason of thinking is because of the oyster sauce, right?" I asked him to which he nods, I shake my head.

"Next, I'll put in the cream... Oh!" Trey cried out in shock

"What's wrong?" Ace asked

"You guys gathered so many chestnuts that we may have overdone it with the chestnut paste. I don't think we have enough cream to mix in." Trey informs us with a frown

"Then I'll go buy some. Do they sell it at the school store?" Deuce suggested

"They sell pretty much everything, so... probably. Can I have you pick me up a few other things? I need two cartons of milk, two packs of eggs, some muffin cups, five cans of fruits..." Trey gave Deuce the list of things needed.

"I don't think I'll be able to carry all that back. Ciel, could you come with me?" Deuce asked me as I nod

"I've never been to the school store before." I said as I was curious about the school store and what it looked like.

'Considering it's a store for students, there is a good chance I'll be going there more than once.' I thought to myself

"Then I'm comin' too! I'm getting dizzy from all this stirrin'. I need a break!" Grim said as I pick him up in my arms

Me, Deuce, and Grim left the cafeteria's kitchen as we made our way to the School's store, with Deuce leading us there. We passed by some trees as I looked up at the night sky, the stars were very beautiful and bright, I wondered if they were just as bright and beautiful back at home. After a while of walking, we were in front of a building that had a sign that read "Mister S's Mystery Shop." We looked at each other as we enter the shop with me leading this time. When I step foot in there, my eyes widen in shock and awe, there were sleeves and glass containers filled with many different items I don't recognize, there were items also standing, just what kind of shop is this?

"Hello, can I get some he- Whoa. This shop is wild. They have crystal skulls, grimoires. taxidermied... Uh, I don't know what animal that is!" Deuce said with wide eyes

"You think they really sell cream here?" Grim asked with wide eyes

"Well, Trey did say this store sells almost everything..." I said with wide eyes

"Greetings, my stray imps, how fare you today?"

I looked to see a man with a tall top hat that seemed to have mixed cloth of wine purple and black stitched together with wide black stitches. A red band with a skull with purple eyes was on the top hat. His black hair was highlighted with purple, which accentuated the purple in his tailcoat, whose sleeves the man had rolled up. He had a bone necklace around his neck.

"Welcome to Mr. Sam's Mystery Shop. What among my humble selection interests you? A charm from a secluded land? The mummified remains of an ancient king? A cursed tarot card?" Sam said as he showed us the many items he had in his store.

"Myah! I wasn't expectin' this kinda selection." Grim said in surprise

"I think my head is spinning from everything we were shown at the moment..." I said as I felt dizzy from the sight before me.

'I really hope Trey is right about this shop...'
