One thing athletes neglect is the mindset to keep eating healthy or start eating healthy like myself. Discipline and consistency are key to better nutrition and for you to become an elite athlete. You don't have to have a lot of money to eat BETTER. You eating better could be you just simply replacing candy with fruit. Always be mindful of the things you put in your body. I'm 22 but I know when I'm done with baseball and accomplished all that I want to and will, I'm going to want my body to look and feel great. A wise man once told me he wish he would have planned to be this age. The moral of the story is that you should want to make sure your diet matches your lifestyle. My goal is not to tell you what you should eat but to give you some food for thought. Train your mind by researching and finding ways of eating healthier to be an elite athlete. Eat better or get left. Be the athlete that's still going when everyone's done for.......
