From one night to life

Chapter 58

Robert took his cell phone to look at the time, but when he saw the time on the cell phone screen, he just stopped what Andy was doing, gave her a quick kiss and said:

Robert: We're going to have to postpone our honeymoon. We need to get back to Seattle immediately.

Andy: What happened? Why do we need to go back to Seattle?

Robert: Well, actually we're just going to go through Seattle, but our final destination is Los Angeles.

Andy: Calm down. I do not understand anything. Why do we have to go to Los Angeles today? I just wanted to have our honeymoon... spend this night here, with you.

Andy was getting sad and then Robert, who until then had been enjoying her curiosity, thought it was time to tell her the reason why they were going to Los Angeles.

Robert: We're having our Honeymoon later today and I can't wait for that moment. But after everything we'd gone through to get here and still being married in secret, I thought we deserved better for our first night as husband and wife. So we have a hotel reservation in Los Angeles and our flight leaves Seattle early that evening.

Andy was confused. As they were married in secret, they would not have days off from work to travel.

Andy: Robert I still don't understand anything. We only have one day free before we go back to work and you're telling me we're going on a trip...

Robert: Exactly that. Our flight is direct to Los Angeles. We will get there quickly. And tomorrow night, we return to Seattle.

Andy: Are you crazy?

Robert: Yes. I'm crazy about you.

Andy laughed at the way he was talking. He then again gave her a quick kiss on her lips.

Robert: I wanted to surprise you, so I arranged with your dad, Ryan and Luke the time they would need to leave so we wouldn't be late for our flight.

Andy: Did everyone know except me?

Robert: Yes.

He gave her a soft kiss before continuing to say:

Robert: Let's wear something more comfortable for the trip and when we're in the car, on the way to the airport, I'll finish explaining.

Andy: Okay. But, I didn't even bring clothes thinking about a trip.

Robert: Your suitcase, with some clothes and a bikini, is in the car.

Andy kissed him.

Andy: I love you, you know? You've thought of everything.

Robert: I love you too. And it's because I love you that we need to hurry so we don't miss our flight. I can't wait for us to be there.

They then went to the car. As Robert drove to Seattle, Andy kept looking at him. She never tired of admiring him. At a certain point, Robert noticed that she was looking at him and asked:

Robert: What is it?

Andy: Nothing...

She smiled at him and seeing that he was still curious, she replied:

Andy: You were always handsome, but today you are even more so. And I want to record every second of that day in my memory.

Robert took her hand and gave it a kiss.
