the golden group haven't exactly talked much, ron was mad at harry and roslyn, mostly harry as he was envious of him but that didn't stop him from ignoring roslyn too.
harry and roslyn had mostly sat in silences. roslyn wanted to talk with him, she really did but she couldn't manage to figure out the right words. she couldn't tell him her feelings because she knew he was feeling the same fear she was. roslyn still loved being around him just as much because him just being in her presence made her know they were there for each other.
roslyn didn't know what her dad thought. she wanted her dad to act like a dad right now, hug her and tell her it was going to be okay. but all she got her stares from him. roslyn felt alone. sure, hermione was doing her best to try be there for the girl but hermione couldn't understand how terrified she was. only harry could.
the camera lights flashed at her, for the camera, she put on a big smile and pretended she was brave. she pretended she wasn't scared out of her mind, like she hadn't bitten down her nails, that she didn't grind her teeth, that she wasn't on the verge of tears.
after harry was finished with his interview, roslyn was next. rita skeeter was the definition of a gossip girl and in the very few seconds roslyn was in her presence, she wanted to punch her.
