roslyn walked out into the arena, standing in what was a cave area on the side. it was full of sharp rocks. it was all hills, rocks and no grass since majority of dragons hid in mountains. she saw crumbles of rocks from where dragons had destroyed things previously. luckily the destruction was bareable since the others had better strategies that required less damage.
she looked over at the stands, slytherins mostly cheering yet a lot of gryfindors were too. she caught hermione and piper in the stands and gave them a small smile before focusing on the task at hand. stealing an egg from a dragon. even though piper and her we're friends anymore, roslyn felt lucky she was still cheering for her.
in the middle of the area was the egg, sat there shinning in its full glory and completely alone. she could not see the dragon or hear it but she knew better then that. dragons occasionally would hide, sneak up on pray. she needed to be cautious.
so she stepped out only slightly more, looking around the area for the hebridean black. it was tough since the rocks were dark and so was the dragon so it camouflaged a little better than all the other dragons. yet, she saw the tail poking out from behind a rock. she nearly grinned to herself just for spotting it but she had to remember that it hadn't even started yet.
roslyn gulped, pulling out her wand and pointing it at the rock that the dragon is behind. she needed to show that was was not afraid and she was not stupid. standing up to a dragon was either the best or worst thing in this case.
