It's a deadly malady,
it'll drown you out like a sea.
I've got Melanie's melodies
keeping me up 'till three.
I can't seem to unplug society.
Trapped in my own serenity.
Hypnotised by sonority
and lullabied by euphony.

My eyes stained with the pink of Kalopsia,
I can't seem to speak, it's like I've got aphasia.
But I know the grass I've grown on, and this is no utopia.
They're hiding the fact that we live in a dystopia.
But it's hard to resist the bliss of sweet magnolia,
oh, it easily kills my inner melancholia.
They're drugging my system with euphoria
and now I'm stuck in a state of akrasia.
