It's the season of roses,
there's honey in the air.
I can see flexing noses
there's not a scent to spare.

Everybody
wants somebody
to love
but the only love
I have is for God, up above.

I smile, my teeth are the pearly white of bone.
And my hair is onyx-black like stone.
I am a lone wolf, I walk this path alone.
I don't need you losers, I'm good on my own.

I can love myself today.
Leave the colours of this world in disarray.
Paint sculptures of marble and clay.
Organise fun, exciting games to play.

I don't need anyone at all.
I can dance in the snowfall.
I can drink divine milk from a glass that's tall.
I can travel this whole world, that's small.

Call me conceited because my self-love is not shallow.
I'll only be feeling highs, never will I feel low.
I can treat myself to sweetness and cookie dough.
I don't need anyone else, I'll be riding solo.

I'm fine,
I'm happy.
I'm on cloud nine,
no, really.
I'm content alone,
good on my own.
