It's the season of roses,
there's honey in the air.
I can see flexing noses
there's not a scent to spare.Everybody
wants somebody
to love
but the only love
I have is for God, up above.I smile, my teeth are the pearly white of bone.
And my hair is onyx-black like stone.
I am a lone wolf, I walk this path alone.
I don't need you losers, I'm good on my own.I can love myself today.
Leave the colours of this world in disarray.
Paint sculptures of marble and clay.
Organise fun, exciting games to play.I don't need anyone at all.
I can dance in the snowfall.
I can drink divine milk from a glass that's tall.
I can travel this whole world, that's small.Call me conceited because my self-love is not shallow.
I'll only be feeling highs, never will I feel low.
I can treat myself to sweetness and cookie dough.
I don't need anyone else, I'll be riding solo.I'm fine,
I'm happy.
I'm on cloud nine,
no, really.
I'm content alone,
good on my own.
