chapter two
first crush.

For some reason, me, Lexi, Jaden and Reagan have been hanging out together as a group all day.
I guess we're a little friendship group now. It's cute I guess. I like it. Lexi probably likes it too.
We're all sat together at lunch now.
"Reag?" I ask.
"What Cindy Lou." He teases. He's so annoying he always calls me that.
"How come your suddenly hanging out with us?" I ask, and Reagan goes red. Oh.
"I dont know. I'm bored." He replies. I send him a nod. I think he likes Lexi. I dont know what's wrong with me but I can't stop looking at Jaden. Something about him draws me in. I dont know what it is about him.
He looks back at me sometimes, I love that.
Suddenly, a boy starts walking over to us. He looks exactly like Jaden.
Except the boy coming over has a buzzcut kind of. Jaden has a twin?
"Hey Jade." The boy sat down. "Oh hi guys."
"Hi." I say happily.
"This is my brother, he stinks." Jaden teases as the boy playfully shoved him. "I'm kidding. This is Javon but we call him Wanna."
"Hey." Lexi smiles.
"I already know you guys because I'm special." Reagan says happily. I roll my eyes.
"Shut up Reag." Lexi says.
"No you." He says back with a smirk. He obviously likes her. Lexi smiles and blushes she rests her head in her hands.
"This is Lexi," Jaden says to Javon.
"I am Lexi." Lexi smiles.
"Yeah i did hear." Javon laughs.
"This is Cindy." Jaden introduces me and we make dead eye contact. His eye contact is so good. Stop. I don't have crushes. Stop.
"Hi Cind." Javon then sits down next to Jaden. But I can't stop looking at Jaden i forget Javon said hi to me. I shake my head out of my own thoughts.
"Sorry. Hi." I say. The bell then rings. Javon sighs as he had only just sat down and now the bell had gone off.
"I don't want to go to English." I sigh to Lexi, but she ran off to talk to Reagan. "Bye then?" I look to my side and feel Jaden behind me and I jump, I didn't know it was him at first.
"You alright?" He laughs at me. Why is this so embarrassing. I just want to crawl up into a ball and roll down a hill.
"Yeah, yeah." I reply nervously. "What, what do you have next?"
"I, I have English." He retorts, taking the mick out of my stutter. I smile really hard and I have to stop myself. I love this whole secret crush thing. "Sit by me, Cindy." He doesn't even ask, he commands me. But I don't even mind.
"Sure." I grin. He makes eye contact with me again and I feel my heart beat level rise.
"Good," He sort of whispers. "Come on then," he grabs my hand, holding onto it briefly. It's not like we were holding hands he was just making sure we don't lose each-other in the hallways I guess. I love his touch. His hands are soft, they are a lot bigger than mine as well. I dont know why I like that. Stop. I cant even help it anymore. Everything is going to be fine as long as I don't tell anyone what's happening, right?
He's still holding onto my hand as we make it to English. We chose a seat at the back and I sit in the corner. Lexi doesn't really look bothered by this as she is sat by Reagan anyway. He sits by me and Jaden gets given new books.
My heart is racing.
"Why didn't you want to sit by Reagan?" I put to question curiously.
"Well," he briefly points to Lexi and Reagan from across the classroom.
"Oh." I huff.
"Yeah, sat by his girlfriend." He chuckles. "It's okay though cos I'm sat by Cindy Lou." He teases. It's cute when he calls me it though I don't seem to mind.
"Okay." I awkwardly laugh. I'm not going to be able to focus this whole lesson am I. He turns his whole body towards me.
"You're very shy, aren't you?" He says, smirking. His eyes are so pretty. I cant stop staring at him.
"I'm not."
"Neither am I Cindy." He whispered, trying to be quiet so the teacher doesn't hear us. "Which is why I've got a question for you." At this point I can't even breath.
"Mhm?" I say, the only thing I can even let out. He kind of laughs, he looks a little nervous. "Thought you wasn't shy?"
"Nah. I'm not." He replies. His eye contact is amazing. He opens his mouth, not knowing whether he should ask whatever he's going to ask. "I want to snap you, like talk to you on Snapchat." He admits. He starts to smile, I notice. I start to smile too. "Don't even start." I just laugh.
"Yeah sure." I pull my phone out of my pocket and show him my Snapchat. He adds me and I add him back.
"I better become first on your best friend list." He suddenly whispers into my ear. His voice is so deep. I love it.
"Hmm." I mumble. Lexi is first on my best friend list at the moment. "Depends how much you talk to me on there later then." I say to him. He smiles.
