chapter eleven

the actual party

┌── •✧• ──┐

Today is the party.

I'm a bit nervous I can't lie. I never go to parties, I prefer to stay in my room in silence.

It's calming.

I woke up motivated for school today anyway, I did my makeup, hair, and eyelashes even though the party is later on. I don't know. I'm confused.

I begin to walk to school and I meet Jaden beforehand.

"Hello, pretty girl." He says to me, hugging me. Woah.

I'm blushing. This is awful because when I blush I go bright red and it's just horrible.

"Hi," I say, I try to cover my face by looking down at the floor.

"What's up with you?" He asks me. Go away.

"Nothing." I chuckle lightly.

"I already saw you blush, so you can lift your head now," he whispers. Oh my.

"I wasn't."

"Hmm. Okay." He shrugs, sarcastically. He's so annoying. Go home. "What do we have first?"

"Business studies," I say. Business studies are okay.

"Of course," Jaden says, annoyed. We're almost at the school now and it's just quiet as both me and Jaden have our AirPods in.

We get to school and I walk to my seat and I sit by Lexi but she's late. I don't know why. She's always late. She's always getting ready. The seating plan goes Lexi, Regan, and me and then there's a spare seat.

And you already know who sits by me.

Well, I guess he didn't have any other choice.

I get my laptop out of my bag because our business studies work is all on the laptops so it's quite easy.

"I forgot my laptop," Jaden says to me. I groan.

"You're a bad egg," I say.

"What?"

"A bad egg." I laugh. "I didn't know what else to say to insult you."
