Love

Stanley POV:

"Wow! Your apartment is huge!"

The Narrator chuckles.

"I guess it is!"

"Please allow me to take a shower! I need one so bad!"

"Of course, the bathroom is on the right."

"Thank you."

Stanley smirked at the Narrator before entering.

"We should shower together."

The Narrators face turned red.

"W-What are you saying??"

"Just kidding! We haven't even kissed yet."

Before the Narrator could say anything he went inside.

Half an hour later

"Oh you're finished! Perfect! I made dinner. I hope you like spaghetti. It's the only thing i have in the house right now.. for dinner, i mean."

"Thank you! I can't wait to eat."

They both sat down.

"Stanley. I am happy you are here with me, but i am scared you will regret it."

"Don't say that! I won't regret anything!"

"What about your son?"

"Well, of course i will miss him. I do miss him. But, i am sure we will get shared custody.. and then you are gonna be a dad too!"

"M-Me? Oh no.. i never.. had.."

"Don't be scared, i am sure you will be a great dad, and a great husband."

The Narrator was at a loss for words.

"Husband.."

"Ah, i was just.. you know as a family.. i just.. you know.."

"I am honored.. thank you.. i can't wait to have this little family with you.."

....

....

"Okay i am done eating!"

"I hope it was enjoyable, i think i can cook pretty good, if i may say so."

"Of course! I loved it!"

"Thank you, i am glad to hear that. So, what do you want to do now?"

"I'm tired! I really want to get some sleep!"

"Of course, i shall take the couch then."

"I think not. Your bed looks big enough for the both of us."

"Ah.. yes.. sure, I'm sorry, i am not used to this."

The Narrator and Stanley went to bed, cuddling.

They both are the most happiest they ever been before.

The Narrator was humming, and Stanley fell asleep fast.

He was also the first to wake up again.

He smiled and gave the Narrator a kiss on the forehead, before getting up.

Stanley made breakfast, and of course, looked around the apartment.

So he had a life before.. he got trapped too?

Oh.. lots of books!

No photos of family or friends.. no pets.. must be pretty lonely.

A piano, too bad i can't play, and, i don't want to wake him.

Very nice fire place, can't wait to use it!

"Stanley?"

"Oh hey! I made breakfast!"

"Really? Thank you. That's very sweet."

"It is! Sit down!"

The Narrator does what Stanley said. How the tables have turned.

"I was thinking.. we should go somewhere today. There's something i need to do."

Stanley looked at his ring.

"Oh sure, what do you have in mind?"

"You'll see, but let's eat first."

After they ate and got dressed, they went out.

"Oh, a bridge! Perfect!"

Stanley rushed over and watched the ducks for a while.

Then..Stanley throws the ring in the lake.

"Wha- are you sure?"

"It didn't have any value.. not even money wise."

Stanley smiled.

"I'm hoping there will be a new ring soon."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

Stanley smiles at the Narrator.

"O-Oh..Yes! Definitely.."

"Don't worry, it's not the first time i propose."

Stanley smiles.

"You're right about that.. so.. you are really sure about all this?"

Stanley nods.

"Of course! Marie and I..well.. i can't say i loved her as much as i love you. I feel like i only married her so i had something in life.. something to be proud of..to not be a complete loser."

".. I think i know what you mean.. so you.. don't love her?"

"I love you."

"Thank you Stanley. I love you too."

"When my divorce is finished, i will propose to you in a proper way, but for now.."

Stanley locked eyes with the Narrator, putting his arms on his shoulders, and kisses him.
