Pretending to hear
The story I bear
Tells me to move on
Like this will fill
The void inside of me
You make it look so easy
Like there'a a stop button
Which I just have to push
To forget and fill
The void inside of me
You let me in your company
So I could smile more
I did exactly what you asked
Being broken made it worse
To fill the void inside of me
I thought you cared
Will ask about my silence
But you made me look bad instead
And shut me out
Made the void deeper inside of me
Walking through another day
With people who make me be someone I'm not
they force me to pretend
So I try to blend
And keep the void inside of me
