I couldn't sleep last night.
All I could think about how mother and Father would react.

"Morning Mother"  I say going to sit by her

" Morning y/n" She says folding up some rugs

"I-" I take a breathe
" I need to tell you something" I say fiddling with my fingers

" Anything daughter" She says all the attention on me

" I- I'm seeing .. someone" I spit out quickly

She pauses for a minute before replying.

" Do I know this Navi?" She asks
" You know him yes" I sigh

"Well?" She asks
" Who?"

I look at her not knowing how this is going to go.

" Uh .. Neteyam.." I say slowly

Her body stiffens up for a minute.
Then she smiles
Mother always seems fierce to the village but not with us.

" Does he treat you with respect" She asks taking my hands in hers

I nod " Yes.yes he does"
"Thats all that matters to me" She smiles putting her hand to my face.

"I'm not sure how your Father will react but I'll sort that out" She says standing up

I smile as she walks out and sigh a breathe of relief

Suddenly Anoung appears from a corner of the hut.

" How long have you been sitting their stalker" I ask

" Long enough" He replies standing up

"Really? Y/n, a sully" he questions

I bow my head and look at the ground.

He sighs and stands up.
" If he hurts you ill kill him" He says before walking out.

Well that went well. I think.
Oh god. I have to meet Neteyams family soon . I run out of the hut to find Mother.

I see her sitting on a rock near to the water.

" Mother!" I say running over
" Mother i need your help!"

" What? Y/n what is it" She asks examining my body

" I'm meeting Neteyams Mother and I'm freaking out because I don't know what to wear or do my hair im-"

Mother puts a hand on my shoulder and smiles lovingly.

We walk up to a hut wear lots of female Navi are sitting. They quiet down as my Mother walks in.

She explains to situation and they all nod knowingly and smile.
