Hongjoong's POV

I was thinking of maybe visiting Morgan, or send her foods. It's been a while since I saw her, and she did change a bit, probably because of her pregnancy. I'm still in shock, to think she's going to be a mother soon. She didn't want to get married yet, and had no plan of getting a child, but here she comes. I smiled at the thought, trailing the familiar hallway of the building, heading to Seonghwa's office.

The door of his office opened and one of their employee come out holding a plastic bag, flashing me a warm smile that I return. Twisting the knob without knocking, I enter his office to find him on his swivel chair in deep thought. Closing the door, walk towards him snapping my fingers. "Earth to Seonghwa." I rolled my eyes, sitting on the chair in front of his desk.

"Oh Joong," he smiled, moving closer to his desk. "What brought you here?" I eyed him suspiciously, feeling something strange about his aura that gives off a weird  vibe. He look better than before.

"Are you okay?" He chuckle, as he nodded his head leaning back to his swivel char. I give him a skeptical look, not believing him, not until he tells me something.

He shook his head, grinning. "I swear Hongjoong, I'm fine." He sighed, a smile still tugged on his lips, as he fixed his composure looking at me. "I have a lunch date with Elise." My jaw dropped in disbelief, reminding myself I heard him right. There's no way he's going on a date with that girl, with Morgan carrying his child. My breathing became uneven, I felt hot. I'm almost blurting out the secret Morgan's trying to keep, as much as she can. I poke my tongue on my inner cheek, not able to form a single word. "Wanna come?" He offered, it makes feel relieved. I can keep an eye on them.

I tilted my head from left to right, making a cracking noise. Rest my elbows on my thighs, and clasps my hands together. "What is that 'lunch date' all about?" I glance at him, expressionless. "I thought you're waiting for Morgan?" He shrugged, a small smile plastered on his face. I stay silent, sitting there as I wait for his cue to leave. I breathed out to my dismay.

Once we arrived at the mall, I sucked the familiar air that lingers on the tip of my nose, as we stride past the ice cream parlour, reminding me of Morgan. I wonder who that girl is, I hate how she push Morgan knowing her condition. As far as I can recall, when I entered the parlour, that girl is facing back at me, but her hair still burn in the back of my eyes. I followed Seonghwa, we enter the fast food beside, and wait for Elise.

"What do you want Joong?" I looked at Seonghwa, who's browsing to the menu, and tell him whatever he order will do. Then few minutes later, Elise came. I frown. She sat beside Seonghwa, while I examine her hair carefully.

It's the exact same hair of the girl, that push Morgan.

I wasn't really paying attention to them, just observing her actions. She laugh modestly, covering her mouth using her left hand and slap Seonghwa's arm using the right hand. Then her eyes travel outside, there's a fright in her eyes. She stood up, excusing herself. Without any word, I followed after, hearing Seonghwa called my name. I didn't look back, and just follow her.

I quickened my pace pulling her away from the escalator, before her hand could ever land to the person in front. I drag her to the corner making sure, nobody's watching. "Ouch! Let go of me!" She wailed, and I don't give a damn. I wanted to slap her.

"What do you think you're doing?!" I asked her in firm voice, my eyes burning in anger as I grip on her arm, making her squirm in discomfort. "You could have killed her and her baby!" I yelled in low voice, not wanting to grab anyone's attention. She wiggle away, and take a few steps behind her.

She's looking at me dead in the eye. "I don't care! She should disappear! Why do you care so much!" Her venomous voice ringed on my ears like a coins that drop, bouncing around the silent place. "Don't tell me do you know her." She smirks, giving me a sarcastic laugh. "She must be Seonghwa's girlfriend who's cheating on him with his friend." I raised my hand mid-air about to give her the hardest slap I can give to a lady. But I remember my grandma and Morgan, I could never hurt a lady. "Go! Hurt me." She said in challenging tone. "Why? Are you guilty?"

"Shut up! She's not cheating with anyone, and she's. Pregnant. With. Seonghwa's. Child." I stated, each word giving her a pointed look. "If you ever lay a finger on her, harming her or their child, he will never hesitate to break your neck." I fold my right hand, thumb sticking out, raising it on my neck, from my left I drag my hand to my right, showing her, how her life will go downhill if she ever dare.

"Then why are you keeping it from him?!" She yelled on the top her lungs. Thinking she have the audacity. I tsk at her, a smirk tug on my lips, my eyebrow raised in a mocking way, tilting my head a little bit.

"Because Morgan asked me to, if only I don't care about her, I have probably told Seonghwa everything.." I lean closer, our face inches away from each other, giving her a mocking look. "And that would lead you to nothing," my eyes scanned her figure from head to toe, giving a the access to intimidate her. "Once I tell him about Morgan, you will be out of his life in a nick of time." I flashed her one last smile, a smile of mocking innocence and walk away from her, putting my hands on my pocket. Going back to Seonghwa as if nothing happened.

Seonghwa looked worried. "Where did you go? Where is Elise?" I let out a sarcastic noise, shaking my head at him.

"Why are you looking for her? Do you like her?" I went straight to point, asking him directly the question that I wish he'll answer honestly and tell me not. His expression changed into disappointed one. Giving me a betrayed look.

"Hongjoong?" He called his voice almost not coming out. "Do you hear yourself? You know me better," he chuckle in disbelief, his look telling me he's hurt for what I have said. "Are you... Are you really accusing me?" I look at his questioning gaze, his hurt face, his sad eyes. I asked myself, did I went too far? He swallowed the lump on his throat, smiling through the pain he's feeling. "You know I love Morgan, and I would never like anybody else, beside her. So why are you asking this?" I had to admit, I'm guilty for sounding mean to him. "Is it because of this?" He opened his arms and hands, pointing about the lunch. I didn't answer, and only stare at him blankly.

He put down his hands, sighing in defeat, his shoulder slump, pressing his lips into thin line. "It's about business Hongjoong." He sounded so disappointed, that I, myself hated me at that moment. I got too protective over Morgan. I was thinking about her and their child, I don't want their child to grow with his parents apart. And I don't want Morgan to get hurt.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have acted like that." I left the place, and go to my studio. The place that comforts me when I'm in my downs. The place that I could call home, when I felt like I'm lost. I sat on my usual chair, that keeps my back rested getting myself drown in my own emotions.
