Morgan's POV
Days been passing pretty quick, today, tomorrow or so, and a new life will be introduce to this full of surprises world. And within those days, I frequently visit grandma, sometimes Hongjoong's home but most of those times, he's busy somewhere else. Yunho would regularly visit here too, never failing to bring something, I told him to stop, because if he continue doing it, I will end up not being able to buy anything for my child.
He didn't promise, but said he will try and do his best. With them, Yunho and Hongjoong knowing about my pregnancy almost making me big. They literally bring foods when they come or just send a food delivery. While I still get those food in our doorstep. And it made me happy, I don't have to buy or cook something for lunch anymore. Charlotte cooks for breakfast and dinner, so I really have nothing else to do. She's also helping me with my laundry, I still can do house chores but they don't let me.
And I have planned of having a private conversation with Nara regarding Jisung. Unfortunately, it's hard to find a right time. Her schedule is so hectic, that she can't barely go out for fun. All I can do is wish her all the best. My study is doing good too, I talked to Mr. Lee, and he told me, all I have to do is study. No need to worry about my scholarship, and even next year, they considered to let me take my class at home, and I made agreement with them to not announce my name during the ceremony. I felt relieved to know that all I have to do is study hard, then everything's good .
Right now, I'm in the kitchen, I'm reheating the meal I received again on our doorstep. And everyday, it's different dishes, which I'm glad. And never ever did I receive something I don't eat, it's all food that I like to eat. Sometimes I wonder who could it be, but also thinking it's Hongjoong, because he keeps on telling me to eat my lunch well.
Before having my lunch, I texted Nara, if we can talk. It took her time to respond, but she did answer with a 'sure' saying, she'll come maybe an hour later. As I finished, I washed the dishes, and flop myself on the sofa. I'm sitting in a kinda tired position. As I relax my back, a knock on the door was heard. I went to open it and found Nara standing in there. "Hi." She greeted with a goofy smile, her right hand waving in tiny. I chuckle, letting her enter.
"Do you want drink Nara?" I offered to which she shook her head. "Are you sure?"
"Yes I am, go sit down." She move a bit, patting the spot where she sat before. "What is it you wanna talk about? And I brought you a dessert." She told me, pointing the box laid on the coffee table.
I took a deep breath, looking at her. "You heard about me, meeting Jisung right?" Her eyes shifted to the table. She poke her tongue on her cheek, and nod. "He... asked, if maybe, you two--" I trailed off, thinking of a better word to use. "He said, maybe, you can give it another try, your relationship."
She breathed out, shaking her head in disbelief. "Can't he understand? I already told him I want to end things with him, and I already decided to not enter a relationship again." She speaks all too worked up, running a hand through her hair out of frustration.
"He's sincere," I told her. She glance at me, and scoff.
"I don't care Morgan, you know my reason." Her eyes show no emotion, but rather it look blank. Her face is showing her displeased. "You knew, I don't like things like that anymore."
I swallow the lump on my throat. "Maybe you can--"
She cut me off. "Shut it Morgan, I don't wanna hear anything related to him." She breathed heavily and stood up. She blink few times, taking a deep breath while her eyes are close. Her head falls down. She opened her eyes, glancing at me. "If you have nothing else to say," she bit her lips. "I'm going now, don't get too stress." With that, Nara left the flat.
I felt bad. I shouldn't have just say that. I smile sadly, caressing my tummy. I took my phone, texting Jisung about Nara. I explained to him that Nara, have no interest in talking with him again, and that she doesn't want anything from him. I told him that Nara have change, she isn't the flirty Nara we once knew, she's more than that now.
Base on his reply, I could tell he's not having it. His reply is so short and void of feelings.
Third Person's POV
Jisung dropped his phone on his bed, beside him. He put his right forearm on his forehead, while his left hand on his stomach. He screamed out of frustration, kicking his legs. He curse under his breath, sitting up. He bury his face on his palm, feeling his aching heart. The tears brimming to the corner of his eyes. He grunts, and picked up his phone along with his key, leaving the house with a door slam.
"Oh my lady Marry!" The old lady exclaimed, getting startled from Jisung's action. She breathed out of relief, her hand on her chest. She looked at the closed door, shaking her head in disappointment. "People change indeed." She points out and continue with her work.
He drive away, accelerating like it's going to take away the pain he's feeling right now. His mind is fog, he can't barely think right. There's only one direction in his mind right now, and it's the bar he used t visit with his friends before. Parking his car, Jisung dash inside, ordering a whole bottle of vodka making the bartender worry, but nonetheless prepared to not intervene, as it was not his business to worry about his customer, but to assist them.
He hesitantly gave Jisung the bottle and a small glass, gulping as Jisung took it in force. Jisung poured the drink on his glass, chugging it almost immediately. As three shots of his drink flow down burning his throat, Jisung let the emotion get the best out of him. He sob, and chug another shot and another, until he almost half–empty the bottle. He cried. "I'm trying to be good," he sniffed feeling the burning sensation on his entire body. "Why can't she give me a chance?! It was a mistake! That wasn't intentional!" He rant. The people around thinking he broke up with his girlfriend, probably he cheated.
They looked at him in pity. Jisung grip on the neck of the bottle, raising it to his mouth. Drinking as if it's just a water, and it doesn't burn down his throat. "I love her so much..." He cried lowly, sobbing to the pain of his sinking heart, mind clouded with the memories of Nara. "I'm.. I'm doing everything just so I could fit on her standard, but because of that one damn! Stupid mistake, I lost her!" He hit his palm on his head multiple times cursing. He sobbed, muttering incoherent words.
He's drown in his sadness, making him lost in his thoughts. He continue to cry, as he drink his vodka. Receiving a glances from everyone that passed by. He doesn't care, he's not paying attention. All he know right now is to pour his heart content, with the the help of alcohol.
