For the next two days taehyung successfully managed to avoid any interactions with jimin.

And this was achieved after literally sprinting to the other side of the forest when the omega was anywhere near him (he dived head first into a tall bush and nearly escaped a concussion when jimin was on his daily walk to pick yoonjae from kindergarten).

Don't get him wrong, the alpha does want to sprint in the direction of his mate rather than away but this seemed too impossible when jungkook kept following him around like a shadow.

The younger gave him a hard glare every time his scent flared up and jungkook must be a fool to not know that jimin must have to be involved one way or another to get such a reaction out of him.

And not to forget, taehyung squashed his wolf's desire to go visit jimin everyday he got off work and he snooped around the playground to watch his child play happily with other pups.

Honestly taehyung feels bad for stalking his family but what can be do when he is in such a compromised position?

But alas even with all the constant pushing from jungkook, taehyung made it to the night of day two, the night of the full moon, the day that ends his suffering and he wasn't even subtle with his excitement even going as far as rubbing it on jungkook's face.

The younger alpha scoffed at him for his childish antics and taehyung had half a mind to throw the little shit out of the door but jungkook got saved since seokjin intervened just in time when he was ready to break some nose.

Taehyung let him go because he doesn't want to spoil his outfit, a warm brown cardigan over white button down and in his opinion he was was elegantly dressed to impress someone.

'I don't get what jimin hyung sees in this child' taehyung heard jungkook grumbling to a disinterested seokjin, flipping him off and trudging out of the door when the younger threatened him with the action of slicing his throat.

Surely the brat must be joking.

Taehyung walked to the pack arena with a skip in his step, humming a tune under his breath, a boisterous laugh pulling his attention to the little figures running around the crowd, taehyung chuckling with glee when he spotted yoonjae among the group.

He decided to leave his child to his play, walking forward in sure steps, greeting hoseok, an older beta, on his way to the table containing refreshments.

Grabbing a fruit juice, the alpha brought it to his lips savoring the taste of strawberries when his eyes caught  an enchanting figure slowly swaying to the soft music playing in the hall, fingers holding on to a glass of wine.

Jimin looked ethereal in the dim lighting, skin glowing under the beige sweater, the neckline low enough to expose their mating mark on his neck.

Looking at his mate, taehyung was reminded of the day he fell for jimin . The moment felt so surreal and jimin looked just as lovely as that day.

Taehyung can still remember the night he confessed to jimin, how the omega had sobbed on his chest and kissed him with tear stained lips, pressing 'I love you' to his cheeks, forehead, eyes, nose or anywhere he could reach and taehyung returned his share by kissing jimin deeply on the lips.

The day of their marriage was just as beautiful and unforgettable. He couldn't help but pinch himself when jimin walked down the aisle to him, a bouquet of white roses held tightly in his hands and taehyung felt endeared when the elder wiped his hands on his pants before holding hands, saying how they were clammy.
