"Iseul!"
At the sound of her name being said by an all too familiar voice, she looked up to find Jungkook entering the relatively empty classroom with his friends tagging close behind him. Taehyung shot her a bright smile.
And so did Jimin.
The two seated themselves in their usual seats whilst the third approached Iseul, practically hopping over to her. Iseul scooted over on her bench, allowing him to sit next to her as he plopped down a notebook on the table.
"I've done the homework you asked me too." Jungkook announced, referring to the work on English that Iseul had assigned for him to do.
She grinned, using her finger to drag the notebook toward her and tuck it under her folded arms. "Well, aren't you a diligent student."
"With a teacher like you, I'd be foolish to not be." Jungkook countered, showing every polished tooth in his oral cavity with enthusiasm.
The two chatted for a bit until more students began entering the classroom and Jungkook returned to his seat, knowing that although Iseul was now open to being seen with him, she still felt slight discomfort regarding it.
"Yo, Saph!" Jungkook greeted as he noticed the girl entering the classroom simultaneously whilst he took his seat.
"Heyya, playa." I---ahem---Sapphire responded, shooting him finger guns. "You look happy today."
"Aren't I always?" Jungkook leaned back, putting his hands behind his head.
"That's debatable." Sapphire remarked after which her eyes zeroed in on the blue-haired boy sitting behind Jungkook. "Jimin, why did you want those tampons anyways? You never did tell me apart from it being an emergency."
Jimin's cheeks burnt crimson as he felt two pairs of curious eyes being that of his best friends' pierce him.
"What?" Jungkook confusedly asked.
"Tampons?" Taehyung looked like he was trying to figure out which came first: the chicken or the egg.
"Yeah." Sapphire chimed, blissfully ignorant to Jimin's pleading eyes begging her to stop. "He called me up yesterday evening and asked me what size---"
"I had a nosebleed, alright!" Jimin huffed irritably, eyes distraught and face red with embarrassment.
His friends blinked at his outburst.
"Ah, so I was right?" Sapphire basked in her moment of being right, as she was always.
Taehyung reached over and patted Jimin's stiff arm, "Don't worry, Jimin. It's nothing to be embarrassed of."
"Yeah!" Jungkook mused. "I remember my sister shoving a tampon up my nose when I had a nosebleed ages ago. It wasn't a pleasant experience."
Jimin just palmed his face, wondering whatever he did to be surrounded by such idiots as his friends. The feeling worsened when Sapphire turned back around, questioning:
"Wait, so your nose kept bleeding till you drove all the way to the store and bought tampons?"
Before Taehyung could agree on Sapphire's logic and Jungkook could prompt Jimin to answer, Mr. Song entered the class, making the loud chattering of the students fall into hushed whispers.
However, the whispers only increased in intensity when they noticed the slender figure of the boy who trailed behind their calculus teacher.
"Good morning, class." Mr. Song greeted in the same tone he would everyday, accepting the various responses from his students. "We've got a transfer student joining us all the way from the Jeju Islands today. He will be with us for the rest of the year." He patted the boy's back encouragingly. "Introduce yourself."
