Stiles and Sydney were digging through Gerard's office, looking for the bestiary. They came up with nothing, and just when they thought their luck couldn't get worse, it got worse. "Hello." Erica said from in the doorway.

She grabbed Stiles by the ear, probably in an attempt to humiliate him; but decided to be a little kinder to Sydney, dragging her firmly by the arm. "Ow, ow, ow." Stiles whined as she pulled them into the pool room where Derek stood.

"Stiles, Sydney." He nodded.

"Derek." Sydney sassed, unafraid. Scott would never let him forget it if her hurt her.

"Hey, Derek." Stiles awkwardly waved.

"What did you see in the mechanics shop?" He asked.

"Uh, several alarming EPA violations that I'm seriously considering reporting—" Derek dug his claws into a basketball, deflating it. "Oh gosh, okay."

"Let's try that again." Derek said.

"All right, the thing was pretty slick looking. Um, skin was dark, kind of patterned. Uh, I think I actually saw scales." He confessed.

"Weak." Sydney whispered, earning a sly smile from Erica.

"Is that enough?" Derek shook his head. "All right, fine. Eyes... Eyes are, um, yellowish, and slitted. Um, has a lot of teeth... Oh, and it's got a tail, too!" He explained. "Are we good?"

Derek made a wide-eyed face, like he had recognized something. "What? Wait, have you seen it?" Stiles asked. "You have this look on your faces like you know exactly what I am talking about..."

Sydney and Stiles slowly turned around, and that's when they saw it. The same creature they had seen before. It made a horror movie like face, hissing at the four. Stiles and Sydney backed up behind Erica and Derek as the creature jumped at them. Erica and Derek both roared at it, but the creature slung it's tail, throwing Erica against the wall and knocking her out cold. Derek pushed Stiles and Sydney. "Run!"

The creature roared again, striking at Derek. Stiles and Sydney stopped, turning back toward Derek. "His neck." Sydney remarked.

Derek began to fall back, reacting quickly, Sydney wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "A little help Stiles?"

"Right, yeah." He nodded, taking his other arm.

They quickly ran, trying their best to move fast while carrying the weight of Derek, who seemed to be paralyzed, on their shoulders. Sydney shuddered at the hiss of the creature. "What should I do?"

"Call Scott." Derek instructed.

Stiles pulled out his phone to call Scott, but ended up dropping it in his rush to type the numbers. When he leaned down to pick it up, all of Derek's weight caused Sydney to loose balance and they both tumbled into the pool. "Stiles!" Derek yelled as he fell.
