Chapter 14: Comforts, Reassurances and Interrupted Kiss

Get ready for some fluff between Raph and Miyuki!

Splinter looked at them with pride as he knew the team would bring back Leo. They all started to leave so they could get ready for the incoming battle. However Master Splinter had to do something before they left.

"Wait, Miyuki. I need to have a talk with you." Splinter said as she turned to him.

"Sure thing, Master Splinter." Miyuki said.

She walks to where Splinter is as he wanted to talk with her

"What is it?" She asked him curiously.

"Since you’ll be joining the battle, I feel that you will need something that will help you. Come with me." Splinter told her as she looked at him curiously but followed him.

Raph sees Miyuki leave with Master Splinter as he was curious what Master Splinter wanted to talk with  Miyuki about.

"You okay, buddy?" Casey asked him since he saw that Raph seemed a bit distracted.

"Hmm? Yeah, yeah, I’m good." Raph said as he snapped out of it.

"Hey, Casey, I’ll need you and April to take the van with you. Meet us at this address at the right time. Here are the keys." Donnie said.

Donnie gave April the keys just when Casey was gonna grab them.

"Sure thing. We’ll see you later." April smiled.

"Aww, I wanted to drive..." Casey pouted as he and April left.

"Next time, Casey." April said with a smile.

As the rest of the team was getting ready. Splinter took Miyuki into his room.

"Your room? This is where you have that thing for me? Is it a weapon or something?" Miyuki asked her curiously.

"Weapons do not win the battle, young one. What wins a battle is the warrior that uses the weapons. But you will need more than just a weapon. You’ll need the right outfit for it." Splinter said.

"I have one but with what went out up there I can say goodbye to my hoodie." Miyuki said as Splinter smiled.

"I have something better than this." Splinter said as they both entered the room.

"Wait here." Splinter said.

Splinter walked to where there was a big wooden box. When Splinter opened it, he took out what was inside of it as Miyuki was in shock. A kimono that is turquoise green and black, with silver platter shoulders, black shoes and black ninja gloves

"This is a kunoichi outfit, I made it for you." Splinter said as he gave it to her.

"A kunoichi outfit? For me?" Miyuki breathed in awe as she held the fabric. It looked so flexible and comfortable to the touch.

"I figured you could need one day for a special occasion." Splinter said while Miyuki didn't know what to say.

"Master, I can’t… It's just too much." She admitted as he smiled at her like a father would to a daughter.

"Take it. You are a part of this team now. Part of this family. And as such, this is my gift to you." Splinter said proudly.

Miyuki didn’t know what to say. She couldn’t believe Master Splinter had made a kunoichi outfit just for her. She felt like she couldn’t accept it but her heart told her to. She loved Raph and the others like her own family, and she was willing to fight a 1000 ninjas to make sure no harm comes to them. Therefore she accepted Splinter’s gift as she bowed down to him.
