A/N: I'm really sick I think I'm dying and I had to take my finals while sick but SKÜLE IS OVER MOTHERFUXKERS
Kellin Quinn POV
~2 hours prior~
I'd always hated being new. I'd changed schools every year. My least favourite part had to be figuring out where I was supposed to go. My roommate, William,(although he convinced me to call him Bill, I still called him William), had left with a guy I heard him call Brendon. So, I was on my own to get to dinner. This place, being a boarding school, was substantially bigger. tially larger than all other schools I'd ever been to.So, yeah. I'd gotten myself a little lost. I'd been wandering for about forty minutes before I finally got back to an area that looked familiar. I concluded that it was one of the other hallways of dorms that we were staying in.
"Hey, are you lost?" asked someone who was just out of my field of view.
"Yeah," I replied cooly to the stranger. He had long, brown hair, and deep chocolate eyes. "I'm Kellin."
"Vic," he replied, chastisingly. "You headed to the dining hall?" I nodded. "I'll show you the way." Vic grabbed my arm and pulled me along at a fast pace that I wasn't expecting.
"I like to live in the fast lane. You're going along with it. I like you, Kells," he panted, smirking as we ran. My cheeks heated up at his nickname. No one had ever given me a nickname.
After a few minutes of running, my gnawing hunger decided to take control of my mouth. "Will we make it on time?" I asked Vic.
"I bet we will, Kells." he paused for a moment, catching his breath. "If not, fuck me with a Dorito. In the ass. We have some in my dorm." I giggled, and clamped the hand Vic wasn't holding over my mouth.
"You don't need to stop. It's cute." He smiled at me, flashing his slightly crooked, but still great teeth at me, causing me to turn even more red. He called me cute. The cute boy called me cute.
"You're giving me validation on behalf of my jokes, so keep on keeping on. Giggle. Laugh. Blush. Live a little, Kellin. You don't have forever to do what you want to do." I moved my legs faster, and Vic took the hint, and chuckled a bit. "There you go." We exchanged words in between ragged running breaths, and eventually reached the cafeteria.
"Did we make it in time?" I asked Vic as we walked in.
"WELL, WE DIDN'T MAKE IT ON TIME. FUCK ME WITH A DORITO!" Vic exclaimed, looking like he was about to punch a wall. Or, maybe, a vending machine.
"I'm not going to hold you to that oath." Vic gave a sigh of relief. Who wouldn't? "Do you really think that I'd make you stuff a Dorito up your ass? That's fucking stupid."
"Thank you, Kells." Vic sounded so genuine that it made me drop my head and look at the floor, blushing profusely. I glanced at Vic, who was looking around concernedly, at the other teenagers in the room who were staring at us."Hi! I'm Vic!" he said in an upbeat tone, causing many people to groan.
"Vic, you've been at this school with us since Kindergarten," a person I had seen walking out of a room across from mine muttered.
"Whatever," Vic said, not dropping his upbeat tone. "This is Kellin!" I waved at the group in response to my own name. "You're going to like it here, Kellin," Vic whispered, flashing me his white teeth.
Alan Ashby's POV
"I've missed this," muttered my boyfriend, Austin Carlile as I lazily kissed along his jawline. "I've missed you." He captured my lips in a sweet, chaste kiss. "I'm so glad you're back." He was making reference to the fact that, every summer, my parents would drag me back to my home in Florida to visit. Austin stayed here, and left to see his family for two weeks at the most.
"So," Austin started, stuttering like he does when he's nervous, "I'm gonna try to come out to the guys."
"The rest of the team?" Austin played American football, and the team showed their homophobia on a daily basis by using gay slurs. It was gross.
"Yea. Little by little, of course. I just," he picked up his hands to show his meaning. "I want to be able to show the world how much I love you. I want to kiss you in public. I want to hold your hand --" I cut him off by pressing my lips to his, more forcefully, this time, but not letting it last too long.
"I love you so much," I said. "More than you could ever know."
"I love you more," he said, kissing my neck, his stubble tickling my face.
"Aus! That tickles so --" I started laughing, and Austin joined in too, smiling big. He had the most beautiful smile ever.
"I love you."
Austin and I had said our 'I love yous' about a year and a half ago. We were about a year and a half into our relationship, and it kinda just slipped out. But we meant it. We've been dating for about three years, as of now, still in secret.
"I don't believe you're going to come out for me! When do you think you'll do it?" Austin smiled at me.
"I was planning to be completely out by our third anniversary. As a present for you. I mean, I'd get you something else, because obviously just doing one thing isn't enough --" I cut him off, again, with a deep, loving kiss.
"Baby, you're risking everything. For me. I think that's enough."
"I'd risk anything for you, Alan."
"I'm so in love with you."
"Ditto." I laughed at Austin's country word.
"What?" he groaned. "I'm just talking, you asshole!"
"Shit, Aus! You have practice in like twenty minutes!"
"I don't want to go. I want to stay here with you."
"Well, you have to go."
"I'm too gay for them. I can't go. Physically. I'm too homosexual because of my Alan to function on a football team." Austin smirked at me after he had said this.
"Since when am I the responsible one here?"
"Fine. Fuck you."
"Maybe later, babe." Austin got up and stuck his tongue out at me.
"I'll see you. Love you."
