AVERY WAS WALKING THROUGH THE SCHOOL, alone. Shawn was in detention for a classic spilling water onto the teachers feet, Hayes was reading in the library, and Ashley was somewhere in class trying to pay attention. No doubt, Avery was the only one skipping.
Looking down at her nails being distracted, she bumped into some random girl. Stumbling back from the impact, the girl put a firm grip onto her hand helping her stand up.
"Sorry, i should've watched where i was going." Avery apologized taking her hand back gently, she pursed her lips feeling bad for the girl who was clearly older in front of her.
"Nah it's chill, I'm Miranda. Your Avery Bishop?" Miranda guessed knowing about the girl who was the talk of the school. Ever since the big talk in front of the school, everybody spoke about Avery.
"Yeah, guessing you heard about the little talk?" Avery smiled chuckling at the memory, she knew she was the biggest thing at the moment. But it didn't bother her, they could keep talking.
"You kidding? Your the IT girl right now. I'm having a small party tonight, you should come"
"I'm down. Can i bring people?"
"Yeah sure"
Avery nodded with a smile "Alright, thanks Miranda" she thanked the girl before walking off towards her class, she had no clue why the girl even invited her maybe it was because she was a tiny bit popular? Or it was because she wants to be friends.
If you believed Avery was actually going to class, you were dead wrong. She headed straight to the cafeteria to get the best food before everybody. It brought joy to her knowing, the hair from the lunch lady's will go in other peoples food expect her own.
Her hair rested along her shoulder, she strolled to her usual lunch table just as her group came. They instantly sat down with boredom rested against them. Avery raised her eyebrows at the while she shoved her face with food.
She heard somebody yelling everybody from across the room, she looked around noticing it was Sam. He was making fun of Maya and Anna just like all the others had been doing. Avery tilted her head to the side watching where it was going.
Hayes coughed "I'm confused, why did he pause? Oh, never mind" he started before he realized that Sam was continuing. Ashley chewed on her pop- tart watching the show, Shawn raised his eyebrows at Sam's next words.
"Hey, everybody! Oh, my god, what's in that box, Maya and Anna? Are you guys playing with dolls? Maya and Anna have a box full of dolls that they're playing with tonight." Sam yelled across the whole room catching everybody's attention, everyone had began to whisper except the four.
