AVERY FUCKING HATED DUSTIN LONG, his ugly and stupid face. She hated how she loved his smile that was stupid, she huffed standing beside Ashley as she reached for her books. Her smile instantly fading at the sight of Brandt, the finger she had that wanted to keep silent couldn't. Avery flipped him off before getting dragged off by Ashley towards Alex down the hall.
The two girls walked towards the boy who had the same unpleasant facial expression like always, Avery didn't bother to question why they were going towards him. Hayes soon popped up with them giving a smile as a greeting, Avery had her smile back on her face seeing her best friend.
"Yo." Alex greeted seeing the three stand in front of him, he awkwardly scratched the back of his neck looking at each one. His eyes landing on the red head for a second longer.
"We heard you ended it with Heather, you okay?" Ashley asked leaning into the lockers with her books in her hands, Avery eye brows rose to the sky at the news. She turned to Hayes asking for conformation getting a nod.
Wow. Alex finally ditched Heather to the curb, she wondered how Ashley immediately knew. It was suspicious, but she knew her best friend had a close friendship with the boy. Shawn wrapped an arm around Ashley making his presence known to the four.
"Yeah, i did. Does everybody know about that?" he questioned looking around the halls, seeing students began to stare and whisper. Giggling like animals and gagging like witches. Avery had missed being the one giggling, but she got caught up with going for the cool kid title unintentionally.
"Let's get high." Avery blurted out snapping out of her trance, she looked at them silently asking if they wanted too. Hates gave a mhm as his answer, Shawn smirked giving a nod, Ashley just nodded.
"Alright, i guess." Alex shrugged walking to the outside door, Avery chuckled grabbing his wrist. He furrowed his eyebrows at the girl before he let a small yelp escape his lips being dragged to the opposite direction.
They pushed him in front of them as they walked towards there hangout area, Avery stood up not in the mood to get high anymore. She walked inside without a warning glancing around the building, looking at the ceiling was something she never did. Now she knew why, she landed on her butt feeling pain in her forehead.
"Oh, my god! I'm so-Avery?" the voice questioned about to apologize, she looked up seeing Dustin Long looking down at her in worry. Avery groaned letting her body takes its course onto the floor, he rolled his eyes grabbing her body up. He held onto her waist staring in her eyes.
She grimaced pushing him off "Fuck off, you big toad." the insulting wasn't much of a shocker to him, but it stung every time a word left her pretty mouth. Gross!
