HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE I WROTE IN THIS BOOK? The past few weeks it has been hard on me with everything going on in school and with my family. It's currently 6:45pm and i'm at my desk writing in my diary. Haven't wrote in here since late last year, guess it's been awhile hasn't it?
"Avy!" somebody called out startling the girl, she groaned shutting close her book. Avery locked it with the key that came with the deal, putting the diary under her bed. Running into the room, Hayes and Shawn ran in at the same time falling to the floor.
Shawn jumped up with a huge smile on his face making the girl slightly worried, Ashley came in to the room with a bag of chips opened.
"Okay! We got new tea, basically Anna and Maya we're doing a project. Becca, Connie, and Stevie we're also in it, right? So i guess they made Maya play a servent while the white girls were being served." Hayes explained with wide eyes sitting on the floor with Shawn beside him.
Ashley hopped onto the bed offering her chips to everyone, they all declined as Avery began to process the information. She sighed putting her glasses onto her desk moving to sit beside the red head on her bed.
"That's actually insane, Anna didn't stand up for Maya? They both just let it slide like it wasn't a huge deal?" Avery questioned squinting her eyes at her best friends.
"Pretty much." Ashley answered with a simply shrug in response, Avery scoffed rolling her eyes in sympathy for the two girls. At the same time, she was disgusted with Becca, Connie, and Stevie.
Those three girls treated Maya like shit because she wasn't white? Avery wasn't having it but she decided to butt out for this one. The school had been getting on her case about arguments, she simply chewed on her bottom lip in thought.
Why would Stevie even agree to something like that? Avery was her friend and she does stupid shit like this? She was getting hot in the span of 15 minutes learning about the new found drama.
"Im calling Shuji. I need more information, exactly what was said." Avery announced going over to her phone, she began to call Shuji. On the second ring, he picked up the phone.
"Hello?"
"Shuji, what the hell happened with Maya and Anna's project? Stevie was being a racist as were Becca and Connie?" Avery questioned closing her bedroom door to have the conversation outside.
