Before we start this chapter, what could
i add to make the book better? I need ideas!!

AVERY SAT ON THE GRASS STARING AT
THE SKY ABOVE. Dustin laid beside her with
his head resting on her lap, the school year was a
rocky start so far. But being friends with Avery in
the end was worth it in Dustin Longs book.
Her eyes shined at the moon with him watching
her being stuck in a gaze.

Feeling the pair of eyes never leaving her face, it
took all of her to look away from the stars above.
She looked down seeing Dustin admiring her face,
she smiled at him pressing a soft kiss to his
forehead which earned him to turn bright red.

"Like staring weirdo?" she teased with a smirk,
resting on her elbows behind her back. Her hair
rested against her back getting into the grass.

"If i'm staring at you then yeah." Dustin admired
sitting up to face her. He sat beside her facing her
with his eyes locking onto her face like before.

Avery simply smiled in appreciation before he had
leaned closer, her smile dropping instantly. To her
luck he was reaching over to grab an apple from
the basket. They were having a picnic while the
others went to go grab lights from the car.

Nobody needs to know that Shawn drove while
being 13, nobody. The rest of them came just in
time ruining the awkward silence between Avery
and Dustin.

"Aye, let's do dare or dare!" Hayes yelled out
with a girl clinging to his arm, Avery raised her
eyebrows at him; he signaled her off walking
closer.

"I'm down." Ashley said with everybody following
in sync, they all sat down eating and talking while
doing dares for each other.

"Okay! Dustin, dare or double dare?" Shawn
questioned popping a grape into his mouth with
a wide smirk. He glanced at Avery noticing her
mood had shifted.

"Uh, dare."

Shawn hummed in response thinking of a good
enough dare, whenever he done the dares. You
know you aren't safe.

"I dare you to call up Connie and ask her out!"
the random girl beside Hayes spoke up, Avery had
stared at her processing what she had just said.
Dustin sneaked a glance at Avery seeing her just
straight staring at the random chick.

Deciding to mess with her; he drugged going
along with the dare.

"Alright." Dustin answered taking out his phone
to call her "Connie, hey! I was wondering if you
would want to hang out sometime?" he asked, after
a couple of seconds; he spoke "Great! see you
tomorrow." he said before hanging up.

Looking up from his phone; seeing multiple
different facial expressions. Shawn looking at him
impressed, Hayes having no emotion, Ashley had
a tiny smile on her lips, the weird girl had a smirk,
and Avery showed hurt.

Dustin furrowed his eyebrows mouthing "What?"
to her making sure she was okay.

"Nothing." Avery mouthed back with a fake smile,
she looked at Ashley who frowned "Wanna go to
my place and watch tv?" she asked.

"Of course, beautiful. We'll see you guys later."
Ashley waved bye for the both of them, linking her
arm with Avery walking away from the others.

"I hate the no named bitch." Avery mumbled
against the pavement walking along side Ashley,
the redhead chuckled understanding her.

"I get it. It's okay, he likes you for sure. How
about we go grab ice cream and candy and we
can stay up all night discussing our hatred for
everybody at school?" Ashley offered with a
smile rising on her face with a wink.

Avery smiled and nodded at her best friend
loving her perfect ideas, she didn't need anybody
but Ashley. She was her soulmate.

Now it was time to face reality, Dustin and Connie.

Fuck.
