Chapter 6: Confessions

The rangers all make it through the portal, teleporting to the base. Keeper and Tyler run up to them once they see them come through.
Tyler: Guys your back!
Chase: Yeah mate you should have came, we could have used your help
Philip: Yes I can agree there was a whole mob of Vivix up there
Tyler: Sorry guys you know I couldn't go
Riley: Right we know
Chase: Keeper why did you hold Tyler back
Keeper: Because it was the right thing to do Chase, Tyler is still not in perfect condition
Tyler: I mean keeper is right guys
Chase: Yeah you're right but anyways we brought Kendall back!!
Kendall comes forward to meet keepers eyes
Kendall: Hello again keeper
Keeper: Hello Kendall, glad to see you're back with us again
Kendall: Me too Keeper
Keeper turns to Ivan
Keeper: I will have a chat with you later Ivan
Ivan: Yes sir..
Ivan bows his head down and turns away heading to the infirmary
Chase: Keeper don't be so harsh on him
Keeper: I'll try not to but what he did was immature for him to do
Kendall: Keeper if I may, I'm going to go talk to him
Keeper nods at Kendall granting her permission
Kendall: Thank you
Kendall heads off to talk to Ivan in the infirmary
Shelby: Keeper can we have a talk real quick
Keeper: Sure
Shelby and Keeper go to the roof of the base leaving the rest of the team
Tyler: Ok what happened up there?
Riley: Like Phillip said we fought a mob of monsters but then Ivan disappeared and Shelby went to go look for him. We don't know what happened with them so you'll have to talk with Shelby or Ivan about it
Tyler: Ok I'm gonna go see if keeper and Shelbs are done talking
Chase: Alright mate
Tyler walks up the direction Shelby and keeper left
Chase: Soo what do we do now?
Koda: Me take nap, Koda tired
Philip: Good idea I'm heading off to my chamber
James: Yeah me too
Riley: Ok well while you three are sleeping I'm going to work on my new invention
James: Ok good luck with that
Just like that James, Philip, Koda, and Riley head off leaving Chase all by himself
Chase: Great now what am I going to do..

*Meanwhile with Shelby and Keeper*
Keeper: What did you want to talk about Shelby?
Shelby: I wanted to talk about what happened up there
Keeper: Okay tell me what happened
Shelby: Snide he.. he told me his plans
Keeper: What did he tell you?
Shelby: He said he was going to destroy this base and was going to attack us one by one
Keeper: What? Shelby you have to tell the others
Shelby: I can't.. he'll kill the person I love if I do
Keeper: Shelby he's not going to know
Shelby: He will. He knows the location of the base, so he can track us
Keeper sighs
Keeper: Alright but you have to tell them eventually
Shelby: I know
Keeper: I'll leave you be
Keeper walks away from Shelby leaving her to her thoughts on the roof but Shelby wasn't alone. Tyler had heard the whole conversation.
Tyler: Shelbs..?
Shelby: Tyler!? What are you doing here?
Tyler: I was looking for you and well I.. overheard your conversation with Keeper
Shelby: So you heard everything huh.. Tyler please don't tell the others
Tyler: I won't for now
Shelby: Thank you
Tyler: So.. who is this person you love
Tyler smirks
Shelby: I think you already know
Tyler: Maybe
Shelby: Oh you!
Shelby lightly pinches Tyler's shoulder
Tyler: Ow! What was that for?
Shelby: For being such a tease
Tyler: Hey atleast it put a smile on your face
Shelby giggles
Shelby: Ok you win
Tyler: I always do
And with that Tyler grabs Shelby's waist and pulls her closer to him. He proceeds to look Shelby in the eyes and leans down. Shelby raises her head up. Tyler puts his palm on Shelby's chin and pulls her in for a kiss. Shelby gladly returns the kiss and wraps her arms around him. They both stayed like this for awhile until it got dark. Then they both went inside hand in hand heading to their rooms.

*Now with Ivan and Kendall*
Kendall: Ivan?
Ivan: M'lady!? What are you doing here?
Kendall: I came to check up on you. How you feeling?
Ivan: I feel a lot of emotions right now
Kendall: Like what?
Ivan: For starters I feel good that you're okay and that you're safe with us again. I also feel angry for what Snide did to you
Kendall: Ivan.. I'm alright now that's all that matters
Ivan: I know M'lady it's just I also feel confused
Kendall: How so?
Ivan: When I woke up the first thought on my mind was you. I don't know why but you are always there, haunting me. You captivated my soul Kendall. When you were captured it felt like my heart ripped out of me, the agony I felt was immense. Such feelings I never felt until I meet you.
Kendall stared at Ivan for a few seconds and then spoke. She was speechless. Could it be that he shared the same feeling I felt she thought. Then she spoke
Kendall: Ivan, do you love me?
Ivan looked at Kendall and walked up closer to her.
Ivan: I think I do yes
Kendall: Well um I do too
Ivan: What?
Kendall: I love you Ivan and I have for a long time now. Just glad I could get it out of my system now
Ivan: M'lady I'm glad you told me
Kendall: Me too
They each reminisce in each others eyes knowing fully well that they each love eachother more than the other one knew. Ivan leans down and lifts Kendall's chin. Kendall puts her hand on Ivan's cheek. They both pull eachother in.
And they kiss.
