          MARISOL WALKED THROUGH THE SCHOOL HALLWAY BESIDE MOON. "I'm genuinely sorry, Moon. It seems like we've drifted and haven't spent much time together since last summer," she apologized, a trace of regret evident in the downturn of her lips. Moon responded with a light laugh, "It's all good, Mars. Life happens, and I get it. You've had a lot on your plate." Marisol acknowledged his understanding with a thoughtful hum, a small grin breaking across her face in appreciation.

Moon came to a stop near the water fountain, a mischievous smirk gracing her lips. "So, ready for the dance on Friday?" she teased. Marisol paused in front of her, shrugging her shoulders with a hint of indifference. "I suppose. Eli hasn't asked me out yet," she admitted, a touch of disappointment in her voice. Moon chuckled and, glancing behind Marisol, said, "I'd turn around if I were you. Looks like you might have just jinxed it." Marisol turned, curiosity painted on her face, to discover what awaited her behind.

A raised brow conveyed her confusion. "What?" she inquired before turning around. There, Eli stood with a bouquet of flowers, flanked by Miguel and Demetri holding a poster. Marisol's mouth dropped open in sheer astonishment. The unexpected sight left her simultaneously shocked and giddy, her stomach aflutter with nervous excitement. A soft grin formed on her lips as Eli made his way toward her. Glancing over her shoulder at the poster, curiosity flickered in her eyes before she turned her attention back to Eli.
