*Flashback to Lucy's POV probably about 7-8 years ago*

***TW Mention of physical and verbal abuse with minor cursing***

"Lucy Joan Carlyle if you don't take this lunch to your father right now, I will smack the lights out of you." My mother said. I didn't want to take Daddy his lunch because I knew he was going to be drunk because I saw him sneak a bottle of vodka this morning.

"Yes ma'am" I reluctantly replied.

As I walked to the train station, I was wondering what it was like for my oldest sister, living in London away from this nut house. When I got there, I felt my stomach churn. It was 3:37pm and dad always makes us bring his lunch at approximately 3pm.

"You little whore! You can't do anything right can you?" My father said.

"I-I'm sorry sir. I won't do it again, dad."

"DON'T call me your father! You were supposed to be a boy! If you where you wouldn't mess up this damn much! Your mother the slut must have cheated on me because a failure like you wouldn't come from my loin!" He slurred.

He came at me to hurt me again like he did last night. I was still sore and what he said was mean. When he grabbed my shoulders,  I pushed him off with a lot of effort. Usually, I couldn't get him off of me, but he was so drunk I could this time. He fell back on the tracks and got a rather nasty cut on his cheek.

"Daddy! I'm sorry let me help you up, I'm sorry I didn't mean too!"

"When I get up, you're going to have multiple broken bones you damn prick!!" He yelled.

I was scared. He has only broken a bone of mine once, and it hurt really bad. I heard the bell signaling the train coming, I saw the horrified look on his face, and I didn't help him up. I was tired of his verbal and physical abuse. I took the thought back as soon as I had it but by the time I had reached out for him, it was too late, the train already plowing over him. I scream, for two reasons, one, because it was gruesome, and two, because he was my father after all.

^Flashback Over^ ***TW over***

After explaining this briefly to George, Holly, and Lockwood in the iron circle we had made, I could see the pity on their faces. No one really knew what to say. Eventually, Holly snapped out of it, gave me a hug, and said,

"Oh Lucy, I'm so sorry. I would have done the same thing if I were you. Do you know what his source might be?"  George nodded in agreement, slowly coming back to reality after processing my story.

"No, I have no idea, you can tell he wasn't close to me or my things, so I really don't know." I replied. I felt guilty, he was definitely a type two, and a powerful one at that. So, I had to get them out of there.

"Oh yeah! In the kitchen I have a bottle opener of his somewhere!" I lied.

"Wonderful Luce! Your brilliant! Lockwood snap out of it and help us look!" George replied.

Once they all walked into the kitchen, I slammed the door behind them and blocked them in.

"I'm so sorry guys, let me deal with this, it's my fault that this ghost is here in the first place and can't risk you getting hurt. He wants me anyways; this is my fight." I said.

"Lucy! No! Let me out right now!" Lockwood yelled.

I ignored him and slashed my rapier through the apparition.

"Luuucyyyy, you killed mee. Now, I'm going to repay you the favor, and all of your stupid friends too." My dead dad rasped.

"Go back to hell you sob!" I yelled while throwing a salt bomb at him. They didn't seem to affect him all that much, though.

"Stupiddd girllll." Thats when I heard the amped up version of his final scream, it was so loud both of my ears started to bleed. I rose up in the air, and the last thing i remember before I blacked out was the sound of snapping bone.
