^ Warning! This chapter is going to be super cringe but it's 115 degrees (hot as bawls) so I don't have much motivation right now andddd I'm just super stressed and depressed so YAY!!^

* Lucy's POV *

After what I was told, had been a few days, I finally felt a little better. But I was bloody upset. Why? I was mad at Kipps. Why? Because George busted in here at five am. Let me recount the incident for you.

GEORGE: *Slams door* Lucy!!

ME: *Groggily* What??

GEORGE: Kipps has been using you.

ME: What? No, he hasn't.

KIPPS: I swear it's not like that anymore, Luce.

ME: Anymore???

KIPPS: *Shamefully* Well... when we first started... hanging out... I may have kind of only did it because I wanted to set Lockwood off... but I promise it's not like that anymore, Lu. I really like you now.

ME: *Softly* Come here, Quill.

KIPPS: *Walks over, gentle smile*

ME: *Smacks him and kicks him out*

Well, now you know what has thrown me for a loop. I'm also mad since I am incredibly bored. Since George wrecked my last relationship, he was terrified that I might smack him as well, so he left. And oddly enough, I have not seen Lockwood for the whole day. For him this was indeed very strange, so I couldn't help but worry.

* Lockwood's POV *

George had told me earlier what that prick, Kipps, had done. I knew it wouldn't be wise to shoot my shot now, but I knew Lucy, and she definitely needs some cheering up. I put on my best suit and the tie she bought me for Christmas, and I go to Arif's.  I picked up enough dark chocolate chips to feed an army, I bought her a book called 'The Book Thief' which she mentioned she meant to read a few months ago, and the most caffeinated, sweet, milky tea on this area of London.

I also went up into her room to pick up her Walkman, and I couldn't help but feel as if I was being watched the whole time. Oh, I forgot about that dang ghost that hurt my girl. that is a project for tomorrow night, I had to get it out before Lucy was home, so she can feel safe, and nothing will ever hurt her again on my watch.

I stood outside room 208, counting down to ten, then I'd burst in. Ten seconds hit, and dramatically, I flounced in the room with her basket of things. I would give anything to see the look on her face again when I walked into that room.

^SO sorry I ended Karlyle so abruptly, but i wanted to rip the Band-Aid off. Love y'all sorry it's such a bad chapter I promise the rest will be better its kind of just filler :)^
