Kion was sleeping in Priderock after a day of patrolling. His paws couldn't carry him any longer.
Kion curled his tail over his nose, and close his eyes, ready for sleep.
"Hey! Pussycat! Wake up!"
Kion sighed, knowing well enough who it was. He looked up, and saw his older siblings, Kopa, and Kiara.

Kopa was supposed to be future king, but he didn't want to be. He thought it was too much work, so instead, Kiara would take his place.
Kion stood up. On the outside, he showed no fear, but on the inside, he was terrified.
Kopa growled, "Why aren't you patrolling!" Kion shrugged, "I don't feel like it." Kopa sneered, "Oh really?"
"Yup."
Kopa turned to Kiara, "Should we teach him a lesson?" Kiara dug her claws into the ground, "Yes, we should."
Kion's eyes widened, and he backed up, "Look, I-I'm sorry. I can patrol now!"
Kopa smirked evilly, "I don't think so." Kiara charged forward and pinned Kion down. Kion was going to push her off, but their parents walked in.
