6. Blood

„No one told me to be your walking blood package" I raised my hands towards his chest, to push him off, but he didn't move an inch. "It's my Masters orders" he smiled widely. I told him that I want to check it out first, he nodded, moved off me and I made a phone call. "Sir Integra N/A here, I think there is something you didn't tell me, is he really allowed drinking my blood?" She didn't seem to like my call, all she said, in a loud and firm tone, is for me to give Alucard his 'need' before hanging up.

Alucard heard the whole conversation. As I sat at the bed end, he crawled on all fours at me, resting his head on my shoulder "My sweet, I am hungry. Will you give it to me or do I have to get it myself?" I sighted deeply before lying down on the bed, once again, with him on top. I turned my head to the side and waited for the pain to come. "Relax your muscles and breathe steady" he ordered, I tried to do so. For a few minutes, he let me breath, till his head lowed towards the neck. He opened his mouth wide and touched my skin, then, he waited. He moved one of his hands and holds mine.

The next, he bit down. I felt like several needles going through my skin at once. As he sucked, a feeling of pleasure came over me, I suppressed a moan though. Minutes later my body becomes weak; I could hardly whisper...that's when he stopped. He licked the wound clear as I fell into a deep sleep.

Later on, I came to me, feeling a little dizzy. Beside me laid Alucard, the same way as before, and drinks a bottle of wine. "Would you like some?" I nodded weakly before sitting up. He gives me his glass and watched as I was taking the first sip "How is it?" A light smile came to my lips "It good, thank you."

After the wine he let me cuddle up to him, he took the chance to stroke my hair for the time being "We have to leave soon..." he smiled "my little wife" I snorted as he chuckled at my response.

He allowed me to sleep a little longer, till it was time to leave. With his strength, he could get us over the fence of the harbour and sabotaged the guards. In the meantime a bunch of coffins were transported on to the large freighter, I could see it through a night vision device. The cargo boat was also heavily guarded by soldiers, on deck stood someone, a slim body and long hair, dancing around and singing with a large stick, like a baton twirler. Something wasn't right about this whole situation.

We sneaked on to the ship. While he guarded me, I went down to the coffins, but some guards had to be getting rid of first...that's Alucards job. Although he wasn't gentle at all, he rips them apart like tissues "Did you have to do that" "I like to have some fun on the job" I rolled my eyes at his reply "It's a bit too much fun. Anyway, we have to check the corpse boxes and then leave this place. Alucard had opened one; it revealed a body...of a soldier...with a different uniform. "Is he dead?" I asked the vampire. "He is undead, they will rise soon" "So was Integra right with the invasion of vampires attacking England?" "Indeed" he said amused. "We can waste anymore time, we got to tell Integra the news" we got up on deck, while I try to hide Alucard just walked around like he owns the bloody ship "Are you out of your mind? Get down."

Too late.

He was spotted by soldiers, it didn't take them long to find me as well, they cornered me at the very end of the ship; beneath me was only the ocean. While Alucard killed some of the enemies a white/blue light flashed around the sky, directly to wards me. With one swift move Alucard had shoved me aside only to be hit by that light. It had such an impact that he was pushed off the ship.

"Alucard!" I looked down into the ocean. He didn't come up, can a vampire even swim? Out of instinct I stood up and was ready to jump after him. Till a hand grabbed on to my neck lifting me up, it was the dancing figure from before, a woman. "What have we here, a little girl playing spy?" she tightened the grip getting me out of breath "We have no use for you little one."

Nearly unconscious, she threw me into the ocean. I feel onto my back, the pain woke me up as I reached for the surface. Concerned that Alucard had drowned, I dived around. But till I found him unconscious, the freighter was already on its way to England.

We failed the mission.

I gave him a mouth-to-mouth respiration, he choked up water. "How do you feel?" "I..." he choked again "I...need blood." His look was clear, I know what he expected. "Can you take it from my hand?" I offered. His condition was extremely bad, I wasn't sure if he would suck me dry, thats why I preferred the hand. He bit down, hard; I had to wince in pain. It wasn't like the time in the hotel, however he didn't take as much. Once done, he recovered in an instant. "Good girl, we have to get back to report" I nodded and followed him back to the hotel. Neither I nor he was pleased of our failure, the feeling of regret came over me "I'm sorry..." he looked back at me "...if I wasn't in the way we could have..." I grabbed on to my shirt, fighting the tears from falling. "It doesn't matter anymore" I looked up as he turned on his heel and left me there, alone.
