You'd been sitting it that cell for maybe a week now... It was dark, desolate, and still, nobody was around except the occasional guard bringing sustenance to keep you alive. It was miserable, and you missed the outside. You didn't realize just how lonely being in prison was...

You even missed Marcus... He wasn't the greatest friend at the moment, but could you really blame him? Someone the two of you used to hate to death waltzed into your life and uprooted every single one of your values. You had half a mind to say that Hunter ruined your life, but oh, how you loved him...

You could forgive him ruining your life if it meant you stayed happy, but how could you be happy stuck inside a jail cell? Where he probably thinks you're dead? That's what Belos told him.

Belos had actually been back to your cell a few times, just to remind you you weren't getting out. You hoped that sick man died. You hoped he would suffer the most excruciating death any witch could ever experience. You wanted to kill him yourself.

But you'd never be able to.

   Because you're stuck.

   In a cage...

Hunter's side of the story😘:

There was a knock on Hunter's door. He told Flapjack to hide and opened the door, and it was the emperor himself. "Uncle? Is something wrong..?" Hunter asked hesitantly. "I'm afraid so, dear nephew... That (person) you keep going out to see... I'm afraid they've passed."

Hunter's eyes widened. He'd never told Belos about you. "Terribly sorry. Perhaps you'll focus more on your work now," Belos let out a dark chuckle before closing the door and walking away.

That was maybe a week ago. Ever since that, Hunter went back to his job. He didn't see a point in being resistant if the person who sparked that wasn't there to be resistant with. There wasn't a point. He had nothing but the coven now.

                                  -

Hunter was walking through town and stopped in front of your shop. He stared for a few seconds before deciding to walk inside. Marcus was sitting at the counter, he looked bored. "Can I help- Oh, it's just you.." Marcus sneered. Hunter flinched, "You're acting so.. Nonchalant.." He commented.

Marcus stood up, "I'm overworked. (Y/N) hasn't been to work in a week, so I'm running this place on my own-" Marcus started to vent, but Hunter gripped him by the neck of his shirt, "YOU'RE SO INSENSITIVE!" He yelled. "Hey! Let go! What the fuck are you talking about?!" Marcus pushed Hunter off of him.

"They're DEAD, AND YOU DON'T CARE!?" Hunter yelled again. Marcus was taken aback, "What."

   "They're dead."

"..." Marcus stared into the emotionless eyes of the golden guard mask, "What the fuck did you do to my best friend." He asked with an accusatory tone.

"I didn't do anything. How did you not know they were gone, Marcus? How did you not figure that out by their absence? Did you not think to check on them? What if you could have saved them?" Hunter ranted. "Well, maybe (Y/N) isn't my problem anymore. You're so obsessed with them, you should have been there."

"I couldn't have been there!" Hunter yelled again.

"Then it's your fault they died."
