Chapter 5~SURPRISE!!!

Emma POV:

I'm on Jax's motorbike holding on so tight, wondering where we're going.

"We're here!" He says.

I hop off and open my eyes.

"But close your eyes." He says.

I close my eyes again, putting my hands out in front of me wondering where I'm going.

Jax grabs my hands and guides me along.

It's like he's my eyes!

Anyway, we go over this bridge (I'm pretty sure it's a bridge) and stop.

"Ok, open." he says.

I open my eyes and.....

"SURPRISE!!!!!" Everyone yells coming out from the bushes.

I laugh and gasp and I have no idea what to say.

"Happy Birthday Em!" Andi says coming up to me and gives me a hug.

"You guys did all this?" I asked.

"Of course we would!" Jax said coming up from behind me.

I give him a big hug.

"You guys are the best!" I say.

"Let's get this party started!" Diego yells.

Everyone cheers.

"Happy birthday Emma!" My dad says coming up to me.

"Dad, you were behind this too!" I asked.

"Of course!" He says and gives me a hug.

I see Maddie and Diego talking so I go up to them.

"Oh, hey Emma. Happy birthday!" Diego says.

"Thanks." I reply.

Maddie rolls her eyes.

"Maddie, I know you probably didn't want to come, but I appreciate that you did!" I say.

"Thanks." She smiles.

I give her a hug.

I turn around and see Daniel behind me.

"Hey Em, I just wanted to say, happy birthday, and have a great party!" He cheers.

"Thanks, and thanks for coming!" I say.

I walk off to see Andi fixing a fruit sculpture.

"Andi, did you do this?" I asked.

"No!" She argued.

"Andi, it's awesome! Is it a butterfly?" I ask.

"Finally, someone who can see it." Andi says.

I'm too busy to reply to see who showed up.

It's actually maybe the last people I ever thought would show up.

"You guys came?" I asked.

"Of corse we would." Lily said giving me a hug.

"You are the chosen one." Says Agamemnon.

"Well, I apriciate the effort. Thanks!" I say.

"Hey Em. Wow, didn't expect you guys to be here?" Jax commented walking up to me.

"Yes, well we are also here to keep an eye on you two!" Desdemona says suspiciously.

Me and Jax walk away carefully, making sure that they're not already telling us off.

"Wow. This party is amazing! The only thing that is missing is a tower of presents!" I say.

"Done!" He reply's showing me the tower.

It was amazing!

It was like 2 meters tall.

"You guys are the best!" I say.

It's now darker and I am talking with a few friends from school.

I hear someone start singing to me 'happy birthday'.

I turn around and see Jax and Abdi carrying a birthday cake to me.

It was purple with blue glitter on it and blue butterflies.

Everyone starts singing then I blow out the candles.

They all cheer.

Andi and Jax put the cake down.

"Ok, Emma the rule is that if you touch the bottom, you have to kiss the closest boy!" Andi said handing me the nife.

Jax scooted closer to me.

I cut the cake and I touch the bottom.

Everyone goes 'ooohhhh!'

I lean and kiss Jax.

He smiled.

He hugs me as I cut the slice out.

I put it on a plate and hand the nife back to Andi.

Jax gets one and helps out.

They start handing it out.

And when they got to Daniel, Jax teased "oh, Daniel, be carefull, theirs butterflies on it!" We all laugh exept for Daniel. He just gives Jax a death glare.

We all sat in a circle and ate our cake.

When we finished and Andi packed up the plates, Jax pulled me aside.

I looked at him puzzled.

"Happy Birthday Em!" Jax said handing me a jewelry box.

I gasp.

I open it and see a necklace with a silver charm that has a J carved into it.

"Jax, I love it!" I say.

He puts it on me.

"J for Jax. So, you'll never forget me." He says.

"I'll never forget this!"

"Thank you Jax!" I say and hug him.

The party's over and Jax is taking me home on his motorbike.

We get to my house and he walks me to the door.

"Do you wanna come in and have some tea?" I offer.

"Thanks but I should get home." He says.

"Jax, I just wanted to thank you again. What you did was really sweet. And I'll never forget this!" I say.

I kiss him on the cheek and walk inside.

I get inside and see that Dad was watching us.

"Hey Dad." I say.

"Hey." He replies.

"I'm going to go to bed." I say.

"But before you go, I just wanted to say that it may have been hard for you to make a desistion, but you made the right one!" Dad says.

"Thanks Dad!" I say and hug him.

I go to bed thinking about today.
